It's a Week Full of Love at Die Cuttin' Divas

Happy Tuesday!
Valentine's Day is only a few days away. I am looking forward to visiting the classes to see all the students' cards and see how they enjoy their parties. I am already starting to feel the love!

Today I am sharing the new challenge at Die Cuttin' Divas.

This Week's Challenge...
Love ~

Here is my Design Team project...
I made these Hershey Nugget boxes from My Scrap Chick for a few of my co-workers. The base of the box is heavy white cardstock and the sliding lid is paper from Pebbles. Some of the boxes have a heart window cut out while a couple don't. I used transparency film to cover the windows so there was no poking the candy treat.

Each nugget was wrapped using the Jaded Blossom candy wrap die. I found some red, white, and pink twine in my stash and added a tiny tag stamped by My Craft Spot (closed).
Hope you will join us at Die Cuttin' Divas this week for our "Love" challenge. The design team sure is feeling smitten with their awesome projects! If you like what you see, please become a follower so you do not miss any of my creations.  Be sure to leave your blog name and I will stop by to see what you have been making!

Not Just Cards February Challenge

Hello Crafty Friends,

Happy Monday!
The weekend went by too fast since I went to a Boat Show on Saturday and then spent yesterday at a Baby Shower for my first niece. She is due in April and had quite a turn out. We teased her about having enough room for the baby with all her new stuff.  I am already looking forward to next weekend since it's a three day one with President's Day although I don't have any plans yet. Rest and relaxation may be enough.

Today is the first day of the Not Just Cards Challenge for February.

Here is my Design Team project...
Since I don't have a class of my own any more and visit lots of others for math and science, I decided to make some treats for the classes that I visit the most. These monster pops by My Scrap Chick are for a Kindergarten class.

I cut all the pieces with my Cameo trying to use up scraps of white, black, pink, and red.

The noses are cherry flavored Blow Pops and the wrappers have cute phrases for Valentine's.
Hope you will join us at Not Just Cards for the February Challenge since you can create anything you would like.

Be Merry with Nugget Holders

Hello Everyone,
The last couple of days have been quite productive since my daughter and I have been making projects for our Carson's Cards for Cancer fundraiser. We have made cards, tags, and candy treats. We are very appreciative for all the support that we have received so far and look forward to making more projects this weekend. My brother-in-law is going to be SUPER surprised when he hears all about our efforts!

Today's project...
I made Hershey nugget holders and the svg file came from My Scrap Chick. I used solid colored card stock for the nugget base and the candy wrappers are from a variety of paper that were cut with a Jaded Blossom die.

The red and green candies are milk chocolate and the blue ones are dark chocolate.

The tag and stamped sentiments are from My Craft Spot.
My daughter and I are going to My Favorite Things tomorrow for the holiday party. Looking forward to some crafty fun!

Piggies for You

Hello Everyone,
It's Wednesday, which means we are halfway through the week. I have Coaching Institute training for a couple days this week and then again a couple days next week; therefore, the new school year is just around the corner. Summer vacation will be coming to an end sooner than later.

The challenge at Craftaholics R Us begins today. So does the challenge at Pause Dream Enjoy. Let's combine the challenges for more fun!

This Week's Challenge...

Here are my Design Team projects...
I chose a piggie file from My Scrap Chick. It includes three different projects and I made two of them. The first one is a tag which is attached to a Jaded Blossom purse. I went to the store (Publix) and these Hershey treats were BOGO. Such an awesome deal!

I inked all the edges of the pig with Tim Holtz distress ink ~ spun sugar and the yellow circle was inked with squeezed lemonade.

The stamped sentiment is by Jaded Blossom ~ Chocoholic set.

This card was created using MFT stitched rectangle dies, gray polka dot paper by Echo Park, and the yellow organza ribbon is from my stash.

I used my Cameo to cut the pig.

The stamped sentiment is by MFT ~ Sow Much Cuteness set.
Other Challenges:
Craft-Dee BowZ ~ Anything Goes with a Bow
Crafty Animals ~ Anything Goes
DL.ART ~ July Linky Party
Sunny Day Crafting ~ Animals

Hope you will join us at Craftaholics R Us and Pause Dream Enjoy this week since you can combine the two challenges together. Be sure to check out the other crafty creations.

From Me To You Treat Boxes

Happy Wednesday!
I have some good news...I am joining the Not Just Cards Design Team. A new challenge will be posted on the 11th of every month. This month it happens to fall on the same day as a challenge at Pause Dream Enjoy (which is always on Wednesdays).

This Week's Challenge...
~ Anything Goes ~
That makes it super easy to combine challenges.

Here is my Design Team project...
I used the bread gift box file from My Scrap Chick. I adjusted the size of the box to make it smaller for treats. The stamped sentiment is from MFT ~ Critter Clan set, pattern papers are from my stash (My Minds Eye, Recollections, and Colorbok), and the flowers are by Recollections.

I made the base of the gift box in three different colors using heavy 110lb cardstock. Since I haven't added any treats yet, I didn't tie the boxes with ribbon.

Hope you will join us at Not Just Cards and/or Pause Dream Enjoy this week for our "Anything Goeschallenge. Be sure to check out all the other DT projects for a variety of inspiration.  Each design team member has their own style, so I am sure you will find something you might want to try.

Craftaholics R Us ~ Use Kraft

Hello Everyone,
It's Wednesday, which means we are halfway through this week.

The challenge at Craftaholics R Us also begins today.

This Week's Challenge...
~ Use Kraft ~

Here is my Design Team project...
I like to make treat containers and even though it is summer with no students, I am thinking ahead. I found this cute mini treat cup with handle by My Scrap Chick and thought the teachers would like this one when it is time to go back to school (Please understand...I am not rushing it...I just thought these were super cute treats.). I decided to give it a try now to see how quick and easy it would be to make a bunch.

After all the pieces were cut on my Cameo in kraft and gingham paper, I started to glue the bottom portion. Then the handle was attached with white brads.

The 2 oz disposable treat cups can be found in the paperware section of your local store. I bought mine at Target this time, but you can find them at Walmart or at a grocery store. The pack is about $3 for 50.

I added organza ribbon, burlap flowers, and a stamped sentiment by Scrappy Moms Stamps.
Hope you will join us at Craftaholics R Us this week for our "Use Kraftchallenge. Be sure to check out the other crafty creations.

DCD ~ Masculine or Father's Day

Happy Tuesday!
Today I am sharing the new challenge at Die Cuttin' Divas.

This Week's Challenge...
Masculine or Father's Day ~

Here is my Design Team project...
A couple week's ago I won a challenge at Cut It Up and the prize was gift certificate to My Scrap Chick. I bought a bunch of files and this happened to be one of them. It is a beverage shirt wrap.

My hubby's favorite drink is Coca Cola.

The box to hold the can is actually quite durable. I was a bit worried at first, but it turned out nicely.

The stamped sentiments are from Jaded Blossom.
Other Challenges:
Try it on Tuesday ~ For the Boys

Hope you will join us at Die Cuttin' Divas this week for our "Masculine or Father's Day" challenge. Our sponsor this week is Scrapbook Adhesives and it is a $35 prize package. How awesome is that!

Bunny Feet Box

Hello Everyone,

Easter is just a few days away, so I've been getting hoppy with the bunnies. I created another treat holder and I am lucky the Reese's peanut butter eggs made it into the box since they are my all-time favorite. I was quite tempted to eat them while working.

This bunny feet box is by My Scrap Chick. I kept it a simple by using white, but thought about trying a light gray or inking the edges if I needed to made another. The only materials you need are a few sheets of cardstock and adhesive...SUPER easy!

The front and back views...

There are still a few days until Easter, so a couple more projects may be on the way.

Anything Goes at Craftaholics R Us

Hello Crafty Friends and Happy Thursday!
It's the last day for students this week because tomorrow is a teacher workday (3rd Quarter report cards need to be finalized.). Lucky them to get a three day weekend after having Spring Break off last week. I am a bit jealous! : )

I'd also like to add "Thanks" for stopping by at Carson's Creations and welcome to my new crafty followers. I hope I can inspire you to create something new! Don't forget to leave your blog's name, so I can visit you. Today I am sharing the challenge at Craftaholics R Us

This Week's Challenge...
~ Anything Goes ~

Here is my Design Team project...
I bought a bunch of SVG files from My Scrap Chick last week during the Dollar Sale and this was one of them. It is a Jam Jar Wrap. My daughter and I searched for a mason jar just the right size and she happened to find one at Dollar Tree. Since it is berry scented, I chose the paper to match the color of the candle wax.

Loving the oversized bow. I left the tag blank until I decide who to give it to. I have a few co-workers with upcoming birthday, so I think I am going to may a few more in different colors. Such a fun and easy gift!

Hope you will join us at Craftaholics R Us this week for our "Anything Goeschallenge. Be sure to check out the other craftaholics.

Happy St. Patrick's Day

Hello Everyone,

It's Saturday and that means it is just a regular weekend before heading back to school. I graded a few papers this morning, took a 3 1/2 mile walk with a friend, went on an emergency run to Walgreens to get some Benadryl for my dog (she broke out in hives unexpectedly), and now I am sharing some cute purse favors I made for St. Patrick's Day.  Phew! Just another busy day here at Carson's Creations.

I found this bracket purse favor at My Scrap Chick. Super cute for girls, but I bet my boys wouldn't mind since they just care about the treat. : )

I chose kraft, green, and gold for the main colors. The  purse and shamrock were cut with my Cameo. The stamped sentiment is by Scrappy Moms Stamps ~ Mini Messages.

Since I am not in school for St. Patrick's Day I didn't make a set for my class, but I am sharing with my daughter. I will definitely use this file for other holidays and change the color scheme.
Challenges:

Although I am not Irish, a positive thought for the day...
Lots more to do today, so time to get busy!

A Treat Box for Your Zoo Cookies

Happy Thursday to Everyone!
Thanks for stopping by to see what I am sharing today.

If You Give a Crafter a Cookie has a new challenge and here is the photo inspiration...

Here is my Design Team project...
When I was growing up I wished I was like Dr. Doolittle.  As I talked to all of the animals, I  would secretly hope they would start talking to me. Sounds crazy now, but you could dream about anything when you were a kid. I still love visiting the zoo and seeing the variety of critters. My daughter wants to be a veterinarian, so she comes by it naturally.

I decided to make a couple treat boxes that you could put a few treats in for your visit. Maybe a few peanuts or leaves (if you are a vegeterian) to munch on.

These zoo treat boxes are from My Scrap Chick. Super easy to cut and assemble.
Hope you will join us at If You Give a Crafter a Cookie this week for our "Photo Inspirationchallenge. The other design team members all interpreted the picture differently, so go check them out!
