Happy Birthday Challenge at 3 Girl JAM

Hello Crafty Friends,

Welcome back for another 3 Girl JAM creation. Today brings a new challenge for the month of September. You are definitely going to want to join us this month!

The Challenge...Birthday (with ribbon)
You can NEVER have enough birthday cards, so here is your chance to add another to your stash.

Here is my Design Team project...
I used the ice princess from Frozen for this little girl birthday card. I found the file at Designs on Cloud 9 (it was in the retiring section for 50 cents, but may be gone now). The card base is from Campin' Critters Cricut cartridge.

Grey Gray crinkle ribbon from 3 Girl JAM, sequins, and glitter paper from the DCWV Winter stack.

Here is the bundle with grey gray.
Other Materials:
blue, white, and silver cardstock
blue ink
Glitz glitter glue (for her hair)

Hope you will join us at 3 Girl JAM with your newest project.
 Birthday w/ Ribbon
August 30th - October 3rd.
Prize ~ $10 gift certificate to 3 Girl JAM shop

Fall Treats at Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons

Hello Crafty Friends,

Thanks for stopping by today on this fabulous Friday. I am Guest Designer at Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons and I am super excited to share a couple projects I made using Lisa's files. I decided to make Fall treats since we are ready for some cooler weather.

Here are my projects...

The first project is a Happy Pumpkin Treat Bag. Easy to cut with the Cameo and assemble, which made me happy too. I added Reese's Pieces in a 3" x 4" zip bag.

I covered the front of the pumpkin with a piece of clear transparency to prevent the bag from slipping through.

Cute handle that slides into the side slots.

The other fall project I made was an owl lollipop holder. Cute! Cute! Cute! I know...how many licks does it take to get to the center?!?!

I inked all the edges, added a Blow Pop (Walmart didn't have any Tootsie Pops this time.), and tied a piece of jute on the lollipop stick.

Here they are again...

Hope you have a great day. Be sure to stop by Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons to check out the Freebie Friday file.

Stay Creative,
Georgiana

How About Some Fruit at DoubleClick Skittles

Hello Crafty Friends,

Welcome back and thanks for stopping by today for a new challenge at DoubleClick Skittles! Back to School has been in full swing for the past two weeks (the projects submitted for the last challenge were awesome), which mean summer is winding down. Even though it may be the end of summer it sure is hot still (it has been in the mid 90's here in Florida with a heat index of 100). When it gets that hot you need a refreshing way to cool down.

This Week's Challenge...Use any Fruit
In honor of peach month

Here is my Design Team project...
I chose a pitcher of lemonade and a couple lemons since the tart taste makes me pucker up, but cools me down! My daughter's favorite is currently raspberry lemonade. Oooh...it is super yummy too!

I used Savory Cricut cartridge for the pitcher (2 3/4") and Just Because Cards Cricut cartridge for the lemons (cut at 2", p. 73) and sentiment (cut at 1", (p. 73). The base (3 1/2") is from Campin' Critters...love the shapes you can use on this cartridge.

Spring Yellow Skittles ~ 25 in a pack

These Skittles are super easy to adhere to your project. I use a Martha Stewart glue pen and they won't fall off! They add some dimension and character to all your projects! Get a set today! LOTS of colors to chose from!
Hope you will join us at DoubleClick Skittles this week for our "Use any Fruit" challenge. The other design team members have done a fantastic job with apples, oranges, and lemons,  so be sure to check them out! Be sure to enter, so you can win some skittles for Challenge #4.

Hope you will join the challenge this week!

Lions, Tigers, and Bears...Oh My!

Hello Crafty Friends,

Welcome back for another Die Cuttin' Diva Tuesday! This week we have a new challenge and it honors a movie classic. One of my ALL time favorites that I would watch every year...Wizard of Oz.

This Week's Challenge...
Lions, Tigers and Bears
Choose one or all three...you decide!

Here is my Design Team project...
I chose this tiger from the KaDoodle Bug Designs ~ Cutesy Zoo Animals. Isn't he super sweet looking! I like him on that background paper since it looks like he is really in the grasslands.

I found this sentiment from an old My Pink Stamper set. I framed it in orange and scattered a few orange sequins.

I layered the orange and cream card stock on the inside after rounding the two opposite corners. A personal note can be written to the recipient.
Hope you will join us at Die Cuttin' Divas this week for our "Lions, Tigers, and Bears" challenge. The other design team members have done a fantastic job with their creations, so be sure to check them out!

Hope you will join the challenge this week!

Pinterest Inspired at Die Cuttin' Divas

Hello Crafty Friends,

Welcome back for another Die Cuttin' Diva Challenge. Last week's "Favorite Color"  challenge was a BIG hit. What an astonishing amount of fabulous submissions. Thank you for joining us each week! This post will be my first one for today and another one will follow later this morning, so PLEASE be sure to check back!

This Week's Challenge...
Pinterest Inspired

Here is my Design Team project...
A co-worker asked me to make a sunflower card, so I thought this was the perfect opportunity to browse through Pinterest. Such vibrant pictures (pins) being shared! I found one I liked (see photo below mine) that I used for inspiration.

This is the card I chose as my Pinterest Inspiration.

Two sunflowers side by side (They represent mother and child).

I was worried I wasn't going to like the ribbon stems, but I actually like it!

A small sunflower was added to bottom right corner on the inside. I used Flower Shoppe Cricut cartridge (p. 65) to cut the yellow petals and a 3/4" circle punch for the center. Enjoy!
Other Materials:
cream, brown, yellow card stock
distressing folder
green ribbon w trim

Hope you will join us at Die Cuttin' Divas this week for our "Pinterest Inspired" challenge. The other design team members have done a fantastic job with their creations, so be sure to check them out!

Hope you will join the challenge this week!

Back to School Linky at Craftin' Desert Divas

Hello Crafty Friends,

It's party time! A crafting party that is!
Today brings a new Linky Party at Craftin' Desert Divas hosted by Tara.

Party Theme is...Back to School
I returned to my class last week and the students start today! The beginning of the year is always exciting and this school year is going to be awesome! I met quite a few students and parents at Meet the Teacher this past Friday and I know I have the BEST class in the entire school. Lucky me! I can't wait to get started!

Here is my Design Team project...
Even though school just started we have a field trip planned to Silver River State Park within the first two weeks. This is a fabulous trip that teaches the students about environmental science and the best part is we get to take a pontoon boat ride on the Silver River. We count alligators and turtles while learning about our science standards.

I created this set for the bus driver. The driver always picks us up on time and returns us to school safely. I wanted to show our appreciation.

The card base is from Campin' Critters (cut at 4 1/2" and the layers are 4"  and 4 1/4"). This bus is from Miss Kate Cuttables and I cut it on my Cameo (approximately 3"). I added the black polka dot ribbon to look like the road.

I used the Simply Said stamp set by Craftin' Desert Diva for this sentiment.

Lastly, the bus treat box is by My Scrap Chick (It is part of the School House Trio set.).
Other Materials:
white, yellow, black, silver, orange, and red card stock
blue polka dot pattern paper
Colorbox ink pad (inked the edges) provided by sponsor
black pearls
Black Versafine ink

Hope you will join us for this "Back to School" linky party at Craftin' Desert Divas! The more projects you submit, the better chance you have to win! Visit Craftin' Desert Divas for all the rules and to play along.

Sponsors for this Linky Party...
