Believe in the Bunny at Paper Play Sketches

Happy Wednesday Everyone!

Welcome back to Carson's Creations and thanks for stopping by.  Today I am sharing the new challenge at Paper Play Sketches. Great way to combine a few challenges since you can choose any colors, theme, sentiment, etc.

This Week's Challenge...

Here is my Design Team project...
I have been thinking about Easter, so I thought I'd find a cute bunny for this sketch.

I cut the bunny on my Cameo (it was part of a 3D stand up card from Silhouette On-line Store) and then added a wiggly eye. The stamped sentiment is by Jaded Blossom ~ Easter Treats 2.
Other Materials:
Lawn Fawn Perfectly Plaid paper
white and green card stock
MFT stitched circle die
blue sequins
Versafine Onyx Black ink

Now, I hope you will  join us this week for the Paper Play Sketches challenge. Be sure to visit the other Design Team members to see how they interpreted the sketch.

Anything Goes at Die Cuttin' Divas

Hello Diva Fans,

Although I haven't been around much, I have been super busy...well, that is at my son's house still. Only two more BIG projects (kitchen cabinets with counters and new hardwood floors in the entire house) and then his house will be ready. Once he is able to move (he will need furniture), I will be able to create a craft room in his old space. Exciting!

Today I am sharing the new challenge at Die Cuttin' Divas and I am hoping LOTS of crafty people will share their projects that they have been making.

This Week's Challenge...
~ Anything Goes ~

Here is my Design Team project...
I thought this lamb candy dispenser would be a cute treat for someone.

This box is by Lori Whitlock and I found it at Silhouette On-line Store. I cut it out with my Cameo. Make sure you use thick card stock to create the box. You don't want it to be flimsy or it will not hold its shape.

You can add small individually wrapped treats for your favorite person.
Other Materials:
cream, black, brown, white, and pink card stock
Brushed Corduroy Distress ink  by Ranger

Hope you will join us at Die Cuttin' Divas this week for our "Anything Goes" challenge. Be sure to check out the rest of the design team since there is a variety.

Easter Wishes in 3D

Hello Diva Fans,

Today I am sharing the new challenge at Die Cuttin' Divas. I hope you will join us this week since you can try something new and create something outside the box...or you may even want to create a box. There are so many options with this one!

This Week's Challenge...
~ 3D Projects ~

Here is my Design Team project...
I created a treat bag for one lucky person. I plan to make more, but ran out of time with all the remodeling we were doing at my son's house during Spring Break.  The house is looking good!

I put Reese's bunnies in the bag. Yum!

The boy Easter bunny is by Miss Kate Cuttables. I cut him out with my Cameo. If I make another since I already have the second bag cut, I may have my bunny hold an Easter egg or a carrot.

The mini tag (by My Craft Spot) was cut on my Cuttlebug and the stamped sentiment is by Jaded Blossom ~ Easter Treats 2.
Other Materials:
Orange, white, grey, black, and blue card stock
Lawn Fawn plaid paper
yellow ribbon
blue craft thread
orange gems
Versafine Black Onyx ink

Hope you will join us at Die Cuttin' Divas this week for our "3D" challenge. Be sure to check out the other design team boxes, bags,  and purses!

Here is my Design Team project...
Today is the last day of Spring Break and we return to school tomorrow for only 9 more weeks. Although the weather was a bit chilly during break, I have Spring on my mind. I made some M&M treats for my co-workers as a way to say "welcome back".

I layered these paper flowers and added a brad to the center to hold them together. I adhered them to the topper in the upper left corner and then found a fun sentiment. A couple pink gems in the lower right corner to coordinate with the base of the topper and the flowers on the pattern paper.

A close-up of the pretty flower...

I used the following products from Eyelet Outlet and Brads shop.
Purple Paper Flowers
Pink Jewel Bling

Pearl Brads with gold edge
Stippled Brad with gold edge

Other Materials:
pink card stock
My Favorite Things ~ Recollection paper stack
Jaded Blossom ~ Scallop Slider and Topper Die

Jaded Blossom ~ Card Mat Dies

Here is my Design Team project...
My pile of scraps is getting out of control again, so I combined a few colors and patterns that mixed well with this bunny.

The Kawaii bunny is by SVG Cutting Files and I cut it on my Cameo. The stamped sentiment is by Jaded Blossom ~ Easter Treats 2 set.

Die Cuttin' Divas ~ Rainbows

Hello Diva Fans,

I am officially on Spring Break, but we have no plans to travel  since my hubby is still helping my son remodel his new house. They have been working on it for 3 1/2 weeks, but it sure is looking good. We have six days and hopefully they can get the list accomplished! There is a half wall that needs to be finished (they took out two walls and replaced it with one half wall), texture to ceiling and walls must be applied, painting all the rooms, install new kitchen cabinets, and new flooring. Fingers crossed!

Today I am sharing the new challenge at Die Cuttin' Divas. I hope you will join us this week since it is much easier than ALL that house remodeling!

This Week's Challenge...
~ Rainbows ~

Here is my Design Team project...
I found the tag in a pile of extra cut-outs on my craft table, so all I needed to do was add the Miss Kate Cuttables Rainbow into Leprechaun hat and stamped sentiment by Jaded Blossom ~ Dream in Color. I thought the rainbow gems brightened the edges.

I used a gable box by Jaded Blossom to hold the Skittles.

The tulle bow was the final touch.
Hope you will join us at Die Cuttin' Divas this week for our "Rainbowchallenge. Be sure to check out the other design team projects.

Miss Kate Cuttables Challenge ~ Cards Only

Hello Everyone,
Welcome to all my new crafty friends!
The new challenge at Miss Kate Cuttables starts this evening, and remember there is a free file every day! Hopefully you will be able to join us during the next two weeks with your own creation.

This Week's Challenge...
~ Cards Only~

Here is my Design Team project...

After I cut and assembled this card I realized a fellow teammate, Janis from Pause Dream Enjoy, used the same SVG file. We chatted and discovered that even though we used the same file, we cut it out differently. She used the Print 'N Cut feature and I paper pieced mine. That is what is so nifty about the MKC files...options!

I found this old stamp by Studio G in my stash.
Other Materials:
brown, grey, white, black, yellow, orange, and green card stock
yellow and green gingham paper by Paper Studio
MFT Blueprints #3, 13, 15, and 20
green gems
Versafine Onyx Black ink

Hope you will join us at Miss Kate Cuttables for the "Cards Only" challenge. The other design team members were quite creative this month! Be sure to check out ALL the variety!

Here is my Design Team project...
A co-worker asked me to make her a card for someone she knows having a baby.

I used the Baby Boy Title in three shades of blue. It was easy to layer the bases and stars.
Miss Kate Cuttables has LOTS of files to choose from, so check them out today.

Happy Day with a Pretty Bird

Good Evening,

Happy Thursday! Only one more day till Spring Break! We have no travels plans since we are still helping my son with his new house, but I am looking forward to the time off. Today, I am sharing If You Give a Crafter a Cookie's new challenge. These are quite creative challenges...you have a picture of a cookie (yes, a cookie) and you use it as inspiration to create your project....a card, a layout, a tag, a gift bag...anything!

This Week's Challenge...

Here is my Design Team project...
I created a soft watercolor background and then added the tree branch with bird.

I inked all the edges of the bird's nest to add some dimension.
Hope you will join us at If You Give a Crafter a Cookie this week for our "Photo Inspirationchallenge. The other design team members all interpreted the picture differently, so go check it out!

Trendy Twine Guest Designer

Hello Everyone,

I am back as a Spring Guest Designer for Trendy Twine. I am super excited because we were able to pick any color of twine we wanted to use. Well, I couldn't pick just one (too many fabulous colors to choose from), so I sent Lesley my wish list and told her to surprise me. I LOVE the color she sent me...Grape Fizz. The purple is perfect for this time of year.

I created little bunny treat boxes for a few of my co-workers.

I used Grape Fizz Trendy Twine as the front bow, which holds the box closed.

The side view...the treat box is big enough for a small hand full of jelly beans.

Be sure to get your Grape Fizz Trendy Twine today!

You can find this great twine color along with many more by visiting the Annie's Paper Boutique store
