Mermaid Birthday Wishes at Paper Play Sketches

Happy Wednesday,
We have an early release today, which means students get out of school two hours early. They leave early so we can have professional development. Today our focus is going to be on Math and Science. We have all new district staff, new curriculum maps, new methods...so there has been a lot of change to adjust to. It sure is taking a toll on everyone.

Today is also Paper Play Sketches day. I have not been able to participate too much lately and Janis has been very understanding. Thanks Janis!

This Week's Challenge...

Here is my Design Team project...
Another birthday card for a cute little girl.

I cut this darling mermaid on my Cameo.

I added some clear Wink of Stella to her tail and bow. The blue gems are by Eyelet Outlet and Brads
Now, I hope you will  join us this week for the Paper Play Sketches challenge. Be sure to visit the other Design Team members to see how they used the sketch.

New Paper Die Cuts at Miss Kate Cuttables

Hello Everyone,

Thank for stopping by today. This is a special post for Miss Kate Cuttables because the Design Team has been asked to use these new paper die cuts. They are FABULOUS! You get a pack of various diecuts ~ all by theme. No need to print or cut yourself. How easy it that. The most difficult part is choosing which ones you want.

I chose the Baby Girl Paper Die Cuts. You can make a bunch of cards and/or layouts with this one package. I have a couple more laying on my desk ready to be adhered together. I wanted to get these done because we have a baby shower at school on Thursday for a 3rd grade teacher.

I had a few of these MFT die cuts in pile on my desk, so it was meant to be. I just added the stamped sentiment from my stash.

Another pink one! I used foam dots to add dimension to all the pieces.

Hope you will check out all the paper die cuts at Miss Kate Cuttables. They are perfect when you need a last minute card, you are in a hurry, or you want to make a bunch.

Georgiana

Masculine Birthday Greetings

Happy Saturday!
Although school just started two weeks ago, I am glad it is the weekend. I need to get quite a few things accomplished and need the long days to plan some productive lessons for the many low students I have this year. Also, my son's brithday was yesterday and I am looking forward to having a birthday meal with him (his choice is Red Robin so far ~ Yum!).

Here is my Design Team project (actually two)...
I was asked to make a hunting/camo card and a fishing card by another co-worker.

I used the MKC Gone Fishing Title and Fishing Pole file for the second card.

Be sure to stop by Miss Kate Cuttables for your freebie...one every week.

Hope you have a fabulous weekend,
Georgiana

Birthday Celebration at Die Cuttin' Divas

I hope  everyone is doing well. LOTS going on here! My daughter moved back to the college dorm this past weekend, went on a field trip yesterday with my class, took the dog to the vet since her surgical spot looked terrible, and we made reservations for summer vacation next year (my son and his girlfriend are going with us this time). PHEW! And it is only Tuesday.

Today brings a new challenge at Die Cuttin' Diva.

This Week's Challenge...
~ Birthday Celebration ~

Here is my Design Team project...
A co-worker asked me to make a birthday card for her 1 year old grand-daughter.

The flying unicorn file is by Miss Kate Cuttables. The scalloped frame and stitched rectangle mats are by My Favorite Things. The scalloped circle is by My Craft Spot.
I hope you will join us at Die Cuttin' Divas this week for our "Birthday Celebrationchallenge. Be sure to check out the other design team projects.

Back to School at Die Cuttin' Divas

 Hello Crafty Friends,

Welcome back to Carson's Creations! I am glad you are stopping by to see what I have been creating this week. I am trying to balance school, home, and crafting again and before long I will have a nice routine. Until then...I have to have patience!

Today brings a new challenge at Die Cuttin' Diva.

This Week's Challenge...
~ Back to School ~

Here is my Design Team project...
I think a nerdy apple is very appropriate for the first week of school. I got my glasses back in January and have to wear them all the time. I don't mind though becuase I think it makes the teacher look even smarter. I have a couple students that need to wear glasses and don't like to, so it is my way of encouraging them to keep them on.

The nerdy apple is by SVG Cutting Files ~ Kawaii Nerdy School.

The stamped sentiment is by Jaded Blossom ~ School Rules set.
I hope you will join us at Die Cuttin' Divas this week for our "Back to Schoolchallenge. Be sure to check out the other design team projects.

Thank You for Summer Fun at Miss Kate Cuttables

It has been a SUPER busy two weeks getting ready for back to school, which is why I haven't been around much. The first three days have been great, but with so many changes in our district this year I have had to postpone my crafting. Once a school routine is established and additional information is released so I can plan a couple weeks ahead, then I will be able to get back to a regular crafting schedule.

The new challenge at Miss Kate Cuttables starts tonight, and remember there is a free file every day! Hopefully you will be able to join us during the next two weeks with your own creation.

This Month's Challenge...
~ Summer Fun ~

Here is my Design Team project...
Although summer free-time is quickly coming to an end, I was still thinking about the hot, sunny weather. I decided to make thank you cards for my parents that sent in wish list items. I always like to show them appreciation and I thought this sun would put a smile on their face.

I created the background using a MFT cloud stencil and Salty Ocean distress ink. The happy sun is a Miss Kate Cuttables files, which was easy to cut on my Cameo. The stamped sentiment is by Jaded Blossom ~ Kind Thanks set.

I made a few is two different directions since I have so many wonderful parents.
Hope you will join us at Miss Kate Cuttables for the "Summer Fun" challenge. The other design team members sure do enjoy the summer time too! Be sure to check out ALL the variety!
