Mermaid Birthday Wishes at Paper Play Sketches

Happy Wednesday,
We have an early release today, which means students get out of school two hours early. They leave early so we can have professional development. Today our focus is going to be on Math and Science. We have all new district staff, new curriculum maps, new methods...so there has been a lot of change to adjust to. It sure is taking a toll on everyone.

Today is also Paper Play Sketches day. I have not been able to participate too much lately and Janis has been very understanding. Thanks Janis!

This Week's Challenge...

Here is my Design Team project...
Another birthday card for a cute little girl.

I cut this darling mermaid on my Cameo.

I added some clear Wink of Stella to her tail and bow. The blue gems are by Eyelet Outlet and Brads
Now, I hope you will  join us this week for the Paper Play Sketches challenge. Be sure to visit the other Design Team members to see how they used the sketch.

Stay Creative,
Georgiana

  1. Such a wonderful card! It's hard when there are changes to the curriculum...we have had new syllabus changes over the last few years and its hard, but your staff will support you...teachers are good like that. have a great week.

  2. That is super CUTE G. Love your card! I can only imagine the changes you guys are facing... It must be a big headache... I just hope, once you guys get it all figured out, things will run a lot smoother for ya... Tomorrow Hunter gets out early because the AC unit isn't working... it's well over 100 degrees outside still... can you imagine inside those classrooms... yikes! Hopefully they'll have it fixed ASAP! Hope the rest of your week goes well! HUGS! :)
