Not Just Cards February Challenge

Hello Crafty Friends,

Happy Monday!

The weekend went by too fast since I went to a Boat Show on Saturday and then spent yesterday at a Baby Shower for my first niece. She is due in April and had quite a turn out. We teased her about having enough room for the baby with all her new stuff.  I am already looking forward to next weekend since it's a three day one with President's Day although I don't have any plans yet. Rest and relaxation may be enough.

Today is the first day of the Not Just Cards Challenge for February.

Here is my Design Team project...

Since I don't have a class of my own any more and visit lots of others for math and science, I decided to make some treats for the classes that I visit the most. These monster pops by My Scrap Chick are for a Kindergarten class.

I cut all the pieces with my Cameo trying to use up scraps of white, black, pink, and red.

The noses are cherry flavored Blow Pops and the wrappers have cute phrases for Valentine's.

Sending Smiles to You

Hello Crafty Friends,

Happy Wednesday (I have to remind myself what day it is during the summer or I lose track.). I don't have much planned for today, but I know I want to send smiles to everyone with my Project of the Day #7.

I used this week's sketch at Mojo Monday. It is contest week, which means there will be one winner for every 50 entries, up to a max of SEVEN winners! Winners will receive the Verve Stamps set of their choice. 

 The stamped sentiment is from Whimsical Design Stamps, but unfortunately they are no longer available. I used MFT  dies for the stitched circle and fishtail.

The cute monster is from Miss Kate Cuttables. I used my Cameo to cut the layers and adhered them with a ZIG fine tip 2 way glue pen. A few sequins (from my new Expo stash) were scattered around.

Other Materials:

red, teal, white, black, and gray card stock

K&Company polka dot paper ~ Secret Santa stack

Lawn Fawn Simply Plaid paper

Versafine Blank Onyx ink

Monster Challenge at DoubleClick Skittles

Here is my Design Team project...

I sure do like using these Tim Holtz distress inks! So many color combinations and patterns you can create...lots of fun too! I love the watercolor background with the monster on top.

I used Sunset orange, black, and citrus colored skittles.

Then I cut this cute girlie monster from Miss Kate Cuttables on my Cameo. It is actually from a set of 3 different monsters!

This Week's Challenge...

Use a Monster or Robot

Here is my Design Team project...

I first thought about spooky monsters, but wanted to wait until it was a little closer to Halloween. Then I saw this cookie monster when I searched my files and decided it was perfect since I love cookies! 

I used sailboat blue and black skittles. Be sure to stop by Carri's store to check out all the other fabulous colors!

Cookie Monster is on foam dots to dimension. Love those BIG white eyes!
