Happy St. Patrick's Day

Hello Everyone,

It's Saturday and that means it is just a regular weekend before heading back to school. I graded a few papers this morning, took a 3 1/2 mile walk with a friend, went on an emergency run to Walgreens to get some Benadryl for my dog (she broke out in hives unexpectedly), and now I am sharing some cute purse favors I made for St. Patrick's Day.  Phew! Just another busy day here at Carson's Creations.

I found this bracket purse favor at My Scrap Chick. Super cute for girls, but I bet my boys wouldn't mind since they just care about the treat. : )

I chose kraft, green, and gold for the main colors. The  purse and shamrock were cut with my Cameo. The stamped sentiment is by Scrappy Moms Stamps ~ Mini Messages.

Since I am not in school for St. Patrick's Day I didn't make a set for my class, but I am sharing with my daughter. I will definitely use this file for other holidays and change the color scheme.

Although I am not Irish, a positive thought for the day...
Lots more to do today, so time to get busy!

Black Plus One at Die Cuttin' Divas

Hello Everyone!
Thanks for stopping by today!

Happy Tuesday...it is Die Cuttin' Diva challenge day.

This week's challenge...
Black Plus One Other

Here is my Design Team project...
Being in a stylish mood I decided to go with a fashionista theme this week. Not that I could ever wear heels this high ( I think I am tall enough and probably would twist my ankle), but I could carry that adorable little purse.

I used the following sketch for both cards, but I did rotate one.

My daughter loved these shoes, but said the bottom should have been red. I told her that would not count for the challenge. I thought the silver was closer to the challenge. This svg file is by Designs on Cloud 9. The stamp is from K. Andrews (unfortunately it is no longer available).

This purse was cut from the Forever Young Cricut cart ( p. 56 at 2 1/4") and the same stamp set was used.
Other Materials:
Recollections paper
black, silver, and white card stock
black ink
white and silver sequins

Hope you will join us at Die Cuttin' Divas this week for our "Black Plus One" challenge. The other design team  members have done a fabulous job with their creations, so be sure to check them out.

Can't wait to see what you share!

My Pink Stamper Challenge #11

Hi!
I just got home from school not that long ago and wanted to check the status of the National Scrapbooking Challenges at My Pink Stamper. I have until 1am to get a couple more projects done. Not that I will be up that late since I have to get up early, but I might be able to get another challenge or two completed before the deadline. Yeah!

I made this card last night, but was unable to post until after school today.
Challenge #11: Pink, Green, and Black
I used the Forever Young cartridge to cut the images and sentiment. I used the Swiss Dots Cuttlebug folder to add texture to the purse. The ribbon is hot pink with black polka dots and the green button matches the handbag perfectly.

Time to to get crafty!

P.S. Don't forget to enter my giveaway. I now have a Cricut Imagine cartridge as one of the goodies. Wouldn't that be perfect for the My Pink Stamper grand prize winner?!?!
