Show Me Some Tags at Die Cuttin' Divas

Happy Tuesday,

Today I am sharing the new challenge at Die Cuttin' Divas. Every Tuesday a new theme is posted and we typically have a Guest Diva too. Currently the challenges are planned and booked until April 2019 with a few openings in May and June. If interested just leave me a message.

This past weekend I worked on a few projects and it felt good to pull out the holiday supplies. I searched for dies, stamps, papers, and svg files. Fun! Fun! Fun! Let the holiday spirit run wild!

This Week's Challenge...
~ Tags ~

Here is my Design Team project...
I love the treat tag die from Jaded Blossom since they cut and layer so easily. They can be used for any occasion, but with Christmas on my mind  it was easy to decide. The bottom layer of the tag was cut in red glitter paper. It was in a 6 x 6 stack I bought at Target a couple years ago after the holidays for 70% off (the green glitter paper was in the same stack too).

The snowmen are Recollection stickers. It's amazing what you will find in your Christmas craft boxes if you just look. I have the tendency to buy new when there are sales, but these were too cute not to use. The winter trees were cut with a My Favorite Things dies.

The stamped sentiment is by Jaded Blossom ~ Winter Wishes set. The green ribbon matches those trees perfectly.
Hope you will join us at Die Cuttin' Divas this week for our "Tags" challenge. Be sure to check out the other design team projects. The tags are awesome!

Free Snowman Hugs at Die Cuttin' Divas

Hello Crafty Friends,
Hope you all are doing well. I am back a little later than usual today to share the new challenge at Die Cuttin' Divas. I had to work on an ESE class that is required for my teacher certification, but I got half of it done. It was actually quite interesting!

This Week's Challenge...
~ Snowflake or Snowman ~
I hope you will join us this week since it is still winter and snow is falling in many areas. You may be able to look out the window and find inspiration nearby.

Here is my Design Team project...
I had a difficult time with this challenge since we don't get snow here in Florida and I am just not one for the cold weather (Brr...I am chilly just thinking about the white, fluffy stuff!).  After looking through my files I was able to find a snowman that made me smile and feel a little warm inside.

The stamped sentiment is by Whimsical Designs ~ Snow Fun set.

I used my new Gansai Tambi watercolor paints (Ooh...I love them!) for the background, added a MFT Snow Drift Cover-Up, punched a few Fiskars snowflakes, and the Woodsy snowman by KaDoodle Bug Designs was cut with my Cameo.
Hope you will join us at Die Cuttin' Divas this week for our "Snowman or Snowflakechallenge. Be sure to check out the other design team snowy projects.

If you like what you see, please become a follower. Leave me your blog name and I will stop by to see what you have been creating!

Let it Snow at Jaded Blossom

Hello Crafty Friends,

I am SUPER excited to be a December Guest Designer for Jaded Blossom. What a fabulous opportunity! I love these stamps...they always put a smile on my face. No matter what the occasion may be, there is always the perfect sentiment.

My Guest Designer Project...
A snowman treat box using the Winter Wishes stamp set.

This stamp is actually one horizontal line, but I wanted it to fit my tag. I masked off part of the sentiment each time I stamped the tag to create the two lines.

What a cute snowman! I added some Cherry glitter glue and Wink of Stella glitter for some sparkle.

Other Materials:
blue, white, red, grey, orange, and brown card stock
DCWV pattern paper ~ Winter Stack
Miss Kate Cuttables snowman (from a globe file)
My Craft Spot mini Tag
blue ribbon
white craft thread
Fiskars snowflake punch

Thanks again Candace and Michelle for allowing me to be a Guest Designer during this special month. I am definitley looking forward to all the projects from the rest of the Guest Designers!

Here is my Design Team project...

Daily Post and the November Challenge at 3 Girl JAM

Welcome Back Crafty Friends,

Today is my day to share at 3 Girl JAM and I am SUPER excited! I have been busy making a variety of holiday projects and it is only the beginning of November. As I would say to my kids, "Mark this day on the calendar." You probably know that means it doesn't happen often!

I used two different products from the 3 Girl JAM shop on my project...crinkle ribbon and an elegant white lace.

Here is my Design Team project...
The snowmen are from Miss Kate Cuttables. They were both freebies!

The base of card was cut from Campin' Critters' Cricut cartridge at 3 3/4" and the top layer is 3 1/2". The snowflakes were cut with a Fiskars punch. The red handmade paper was a prize from Diana at DL.ART...Thanks!

Both trims are from 3 Girl JAM...the new beautiful white lace and Aqua Splash crinkle ribbon. The sentiment is a stamp from Whimsical Designs stamps.
Hope you will join us at 3 Girl JAM with your newest holiday project.

November 1st - November 28th
Prize ~ $15 gift certificate to 3 Girl JAM shop

Using the Incy Wincy Sketch for the Holidays

Hello Crafty Friends,

After grocery shopping this morning I made myself comfortable in my craft area and made two new cards using last week's sketch from Incy Wincy Designs. Unfortunately, I did not meet the deadline since the challenge site is from Australia and they are a day ahead. I will know for next time to keep an eye on the clock.

Have you ever done that...made a project and missed the deadline? I am disappointed, but still pleased with the outcome of both cards.

Here is the first holiday card...
I added Citron glitter glue to the middle tree. All the trees sit on pop dots to add dimension.
The brown cord "pops" on that green Bo Bunny button. The stamp is from Whimsical Designs ~ Snow Much Fun.
Here is the other card...
I thought of my daughter when I made this one since she mentioned how much she likes snowmen.
I coated him with Glitz glitter glue so he would sparkle. Yes, it is still a little wet, but I am sure it will be dry by the time I am done typing this post.
I added a wood button to match the arms and then tied a double bow with Blossom twine. This stamp is also from Whimsical Designs ~ Snow Much Fun.
Other Materials:
Recollections paper ~ Holly Day Wishes (top card)
brown and tan cardstock
Winter Woodland Cricut cartridge ~ trees (p. 37) cut at 2 1/2"
brown ink

My Mind's Eye paper ~ Merry (bottom card)
pink and black card stock
Hello Kitty ~ snowman (p. 77) cut at 2 1/2"
pink pearls
black ink

Other Challenges:

Hoping you have a pleasant week. This is the last full week of school then we only have two days the following week. Looking forward to Thanksgiving Break and holiday shopping. I sure hope there are some good deals!

Winter Wonderland at Exploring Cricut

 Hello Crafty Friends,

The weekend flew right by and now we have another week filled with many new and exciting challenges. Die Cuttin' Diva starts tomorrow and Whimsical Designs has its first challenge on Wednesday with a new creative Design Team. I am looking forward to Friday already just because it is a three day weekend with the holiday. Yeah!

Today brings a new challenge at Exploring Cricut.
Theme...Winter Wonderland

Here is my Design Team project...
This was difficult to make since it has been in the 80's for the past two weeks. Who is thinking of snow then?!?! People are going to beach here in Florida.
This background paper was perfect because the glitterized snow and tree were there. I only had to add the snowman and snowflakes. Do you like his buttons? Those are skittles by Carri @Abusybee.
Materials:
Snow Folks Cricut cartridge
Me & My Big Ideas paper
white, brown, blue, orange, and red card stock
Fiskars snowflake punch
red and clear glitter skittles from Carri @Abusybee
Winter Wonderland stamp
green ink

Be sure to come back tomorrow for Die Cuttin' Divas and then again on Wednesday for Whimsical Designs.

Georgiana

Mrs. Frosty

Good Morning Crafty Friends,

Here today with another card that I made late last night. After working with the pink for Docerela Creations, I decided to try another. I had all the scraps laying out and I have been wanting to make a snowman; therefore,  I created a Mrs. Frosty.
 Materials:
Doodlecharms cartridge ~ Snowman cut at 3 1/2"
Everyday Paperdolls ~ scarf and hat
pink, black, orange and white glitter paper scraps
Cuttlebug embossing folder ~ snowflakes
white ribbon
pink wiggly eyes (Thank You Carri)
pink gems
Fiskars snowflake punch
white ink
pink craft thread
Challenges:

Only four days of school this week, then we are off until January. What are your holiday plans? Any mini vacations? Does family come to your home? We always host Christmas at our house since we spend Thanksgiving at the in-laws. We open gifts, the kids "play" with their new "toys", usually play a board game, and then feast. It is a wonderful day!

Happy Holidays to you and your family,
Georgiana
