Holiday Challenge at Miss Kate Cuttables

Hello Crafty Friends,

The new challenge at Miss Kate Cuttables started, and remember there is a free file every day! Hopefully you will be able to join us during the next two weeks with your own creation.

This Month's Challenge...
~ Holiday~

Here is my Design Team project...
I made about 100 Winter Candy Grams that are going to be "sold" at school for 10 Box Tops each. They were advertised on our WESH morning show all last week and sales started today. They will be delivered next Monday and Tuesday just before Winter Break. Since these are for 5 - 10 year olds, the cut and decorations were simple because all they want is the CANDY!

Hoping to "sell" all these and have to make more before the end of the week.
Other Materials:
red, white, green, brown, and yellow card stock
red glitter glue
sequins
MFT stamp ~ Snow Globe Sentiments
Versafine ink ~ Black Onyx

Hope you will join us at Miss Kate Cuttables for the "Holiday" challenge. The other design team members sure are getting in the festive mood. Be sure to check out ALL the variety!

Stay Creative,
Georgiana

Christmas Tree Link Up Party and BEST Hubby

Hello Friends,

Hope everyone has enjoyed their weekend...it sure went by fast! Thank you for stopping by for the Jolly Old St. Nick hop. What a great time we had sharing our Santa projects. I will be announcing the winner of the crafting goodies Monday evening.

I am sharing this year's Christmas tree for Docerela Creations' Link Up Party. We have a live fir tree with blue lights, white garland and we added a new angel. We did not put as many ornaments on the tree as we own, but we did pick the "special" ones. A bunch of the presents are under the tree, except for Santas! The kids should be pleased.
I tried turning off the flash to get the blue lights shimmering.

Best Hubby Ever!
This morning my hubby ordered me a Cameo. It may not be here before Christmas because of all the snow storms and holiday mail deliveries, BUT as long as I know it is on its way I am thrilled! Now I need to start learning how to use this new die cutting machine. Please leave me some links on the best tutorials! I am going to need help!

Then...this afternoon he made chocolate chip cookies for my Cookie Exchange Party that we are having at school tomorrow. Oooh...they are scrumptious. There were a few left for the house, so everyone got a taste!

Only 5 days of school this week and there is something scheduled everyday (meteorologist visit, a couple of tests, Camp Days field trip, our holiday party, and DARE Graduation). Although I do not like to rush time by, I am looking forward to Winter Break.

Until next time...

Happy Holidays,
Georgiana

Giving Santa Kisses

Hello Crafty Friends,

Thank you for stopping by and checking out my newest creation. I made these treat bags for my class and will give them out on the last day before Winter Break. I used a new stamp that I bought from Jaded Blossom for my 20th anniversary. Hubby said to get what I wanted. : ) I didn't get everything on my wish list, but I sure did get a nice collection to get started.

Santa Kisses...
First, I created the topper using Elegant Edges Cricut book feature (p. 53). Then I cut the tree from Gingerbread Cricut cartridge. I added faux stitching with a white gel pen, red sparkle ornaments, and a twine bow. The 2 1/4" tag was cut from Elegant Edges also. The stamp is from the Christmas Poop set.
The labels for the Hershey Kisses were downloaded from Amanda's Parties to Go.
Here is the class set!
Other Materials:
red, green, and white card stock
Recollection striped holiday paper
red glitter paper
3x3 plastic bags
red ink

Challenges:

Be sure to come back again! I have more treat bags, tags, and holiday cards to share. Next weekend I will be participating in a Jolly St. Nick Hop. Lots of creativity!

Happy Holidays,
Georgiana

O' Christmas Tree

Hello Crafty Friends,

Thanksgiving was a huge success and shopping was too! LOTS of great finds at wonderful prices. Late this afternoon was spent at the craft table. I was able to make this card after Carri, ABusyBee, said "Let's use a tree."

Here is my tree project...
Carri picked the tree on page 57 from Create a Critter. I was a bit concerned at first because it looked extremely plain in the booklet, but after finding the right paper and adding a few embellishments it definitely looks better.
What do you think about the blue sequins as ornaments?
Of course, what is a Christmas tree without presents?!?! They were cut at 1/2".
Inside sentiment
Other Materials:
Little Yellow Bicycle paper
cream, blue, and brown card stock
blue sequins
gold star
blue polka dot ribbon
green ink

Challenges:

Hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend. Me? I am going to work on an order for holidays cards. Loving this free time to create!

Fall is a Time to be Thankful

Hello Crafty Friends,

Hoping you have been enjoying your week. I have made another card that I would like to share. I am excited that I have had the time to craft again. Yippee!!! Since my daughter no longer has cross country, I do not have to play taxi which allows me to be more flexible with my time.

Here is my most recent project...
Thanks
I used the following "Stella Says Sketch" at Bugaboo.
The tree was cut from Wild Card and it is adhered to a Lacey Circle Spellbinders.

A "Thanks " stamp to show appreciation, and a brown button with cord.
Challenges:

Enjoy the rest of your week.

Georgiana

Celebrating the Season in Pastels

Hello Crafty Friends,

I sure hope you have enjoyed your day. My hubby and I went shopping and have just about  everything done for Christmas. One final run tomorrow and we should be all set. Monday morning will be spent cleaning and cooking before company arrives for a Christmas Eve celebration. Then we wait for Santa!

Now I have another holiday card. After the black, white, and red Santa card yesterday I wanted to incorporate soft, pastel colors.  I also love how doilies look. It is only the second or third time using one, but I am attracted to the intricate cuts and the varieties you can buy.
I used four different pattern papers (MME ~ Merry) as part of the 12 Days of Christmas at Frosted Designs ~Day 4.
This festive tree was cut at 2 1/4" from the Joys of the Season Cricut cartridge.
The pink bow adds a feminine touch to an ordinary tree.

Other Challenges:
Weekly Christmas Card Challenge ~ Doilies
Celebrate the Occasion ~ Christmas Anything

Hope you enjoy your last weekend before the BIG day.
Happy Holidays,
Georgiana
