Cupcake Treats for the Holiday Season

Happy Saturday Everyone,

I went to lunch with a couple friends today and then met the family at the mall to pick up some wallflowers at White Barn. WOW! It sure is busy on the roads and at the stores. I am so glad to be home now. I have a few projects I need to finish and a couple more that I want to start. Nice, quiet time in the craft room is the perfect way to spend the afternoon.

Today's project...

I have been collecting the free cupcakes from the 12 Days of Christmas at SVG Cutting Files. I have finished two and have two more half way done.

I am loving the nerdy Christmas reindeer since we have matching glasses. The wrapper is red foil paper (looks great in person, but leaves a glare in the photo).

The Santa suit cupcake is my favorite so far. I used Wink of Stella on the white portion of the hat although it is difficult to see. The yellow ribbon matched the buckle perfectly. 

I used a clear box with decorative shred, which can be filled with any type of individually wrapped holiday candy.

I Like This Cupcake!

This is my second post for today. This usually only happens once a month when two design team projects are due on the same day. Earlier I shared Eyelet Outlet and Brads, and now I am sharing Miss Kate Cuttables' project.

Here is my Design Team project...

A yummy, chocolate birthday cupcake that is liked by all! The frosting is pink so it can either be vanilla with tint or strawberry flavored...you choose.

I used the following sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches.

 I used a Spellbinder Label Twenty-two for the frame.

Stamped sentiment is by Jaded Blossom.

A Chocolate Treat for a Chocoholic

Hello Everyone,

Happy Christmas Eve! Hard to believe there is only one day until Christmas Day. The time sure did fly by this year just as the day did. I made this card earlier, but started watching Christmas movies on the Hallmark Channel and lost track of time. Those movies sure do keep you entranced. I think it's because they always have happy endings.

I used the following photo from Cupcake Inspirations to help choose the colors and  my die-cut and I used the  Stella Says Sketch for the layout.

The Valentine cupcake is from Miss Kate Cuttables. The background mat was embossed with a chevron folder and then flattened. I wanted a clean and simple look, but not too much texture. When there are too many bumps the paper doesn't seem to lay nicely.  

The stamped sentiment is from Jaded Blossom ~ Chocoholic set. What a delicious set of fun sayings for anyone who LOVES chocolate (that is ME). I used Ranger Archival Ink ~ Potting Soil.

Cupcake War Birthday Celebration

Hello Everyone,

I sure hope you enjoyed your weekend. Sure does fly by, huh? Kelsey came home from college (she does every other weekend) and it was my hubby's birthday (he is 10 days younger than me), so we had a good time. I cleaned my craft area (I had clear stamps stuck on acrylic blocks from a good month or two ago that needed to be put away) and then I was super excited to get a few cards created.  What a feeling to have again!

A co-worker asked me to make a cupcake birthday card for her grand-daughter. She won a cupcake war contest not too long ago...how cool!

I used the Paper Play Sketches #16 created by Janis. Love these sketches!

This cupcake cutie is by KaDoodle Bug Design. The stamped sentiment is from Cardz TV ~ Make a Wish set.

I used pink skittles...one of my favorite colors. What is your favorite color? Carri has made so many different colors you might have more than one!

It's Birthday Season

Hello Crafty Friends,

Not only is it back to school time, but it is birthday season at our house. My son celebrated his 21st birthday last week, mine is in 3 weeks, and then my hubby's is 10 days later. Keeps us busy shopping too.

I love cupcakes for birthdays, especially sweet chocolate ones!

All the purple star buttons were in my stash...I sure like how they look! Adds a little pizzazz!

Instead of using this stamp I cut the letters, so it would fit in my arrow banner.

Minnie Cupcake for 3 Girl JAM

Hello Crafty Friends (and Disney Fanatics),

Welcome back and thank you for stopping by. Today is my day to post at 3 Girl JAM. 

Here is my Design Team project...

Since I live in Florida...only 70 minutes from Disney, everyone seems to love Disney. We have had annual passes numerous times over the years and have enjoyed many trips to all the parks. Minnie Mouse is definitely a favorite character. Here is a cupcake just for her!

I used the basic blue crinkle ribbon from the Red, White, and Blue Bundle.

Scalloped edges, a mini pennant stamped with Happy Birthday, and white enamel dots

Love for a Cupcake

Hello Crafty Friends,

Let's start this week off right...with a chocolate cupcake! M-M-M...delicious!

I found this Valentine cupcake at Miss Kate Cuttables. Have you noticed I like these files?! They are so easy to use!  

I made the banner using my metal die from the We Are Memory Keepers set I previously mentioned I bought at Amazon. The letters were cut using the Plantin Schoolbook Cricut cartridge at 3/4". I then used my Martha Stewart glue pen to adhere the twine along the top edge. Small bows finished off the ends.

Valentine Cupcake Treat Bag

Here is my project of the day...

A yummy treat treat bag using the Valentine cupcake svg file. This cupcake is super sweet with all the hearts. The size is perfect for individual candies, a gift card, a small candle...whatever you want to give to someone special. 

This Valentine cupcake is super easy to cut and you can change the flavor to your favorite. Me... I love chocolate! 

 The tag is stamped with a sentiment from Jaded Blossom's Valentine Treats stamp set.

Pumpkin Cupcake for Any Occasion

Hello Crafty Friends,

 Today is my day to share at 3 Girl JAM!  I am showcasing another product from the 3 Girl JAM shop...an orange jute string. It is perfect for fall and Halloween.

Here is my Design Team project...

I made this yummy cupcake for any occasion. I cut the KaDoodle Bug file with my Cameo, inked all the edges, and added a few candy pumpkins for the photo.

I used orange jute string.

How Many Cupcakes Would You Like?

Hello Friends,

 

Today is a bit special...I have a card to share using Peachy Keen stamps! I picked out these stamps after winning a gift card about a year ago and never used them. I even let a friend borrow them and she used them before me. I am not sure why I haven't used them...I think more of fear of not fitting the face on my die cut and wasting the paper. Let's just say...That won't happen again! Now I need to work on adding some color to the faces. Then I will need to add a few more sets! What are your favorites?

Whimsical Wednesdays ~ Anything Goes Challenge

First, a sparkly cupcake for someone very special.

Two different size holders depending if you want a regular or a mini cupcake. I know I would want a regular-sized, moist chocolate cupcake with sweet vanilla frosting. Oh...I think I might need to make some this weekend!
