Owl-ways! at 3 Girl JAM

Hello Crafty Friends,

Welcome back for another 3 Girl JAM creation.

Today I am sharing a shaped card with this fun owl from Hoot 'n' Holler. I have been searching my Cricut carts and finding a variety of shapes for the bases. They sure are fun compared to the typical rectangle.

I used Aqua Splash ribbon from the Caribbean Splash Bundle for Oriel the Owl's bow. Then a little more of the bunched ribbon across the bottom. A few orange and aqua buttons with coordinating craft thread.

Other Materials:

orange, black, and white card stock

Sentimentals Cricut cartridge ~ card base (p. 35) cut at 4 3/4"; layers cut at 4 1/2" and 4 1/4"

Hoot 'n' Holler ~ owl#17 cut at 3 1/2"

orange and teal buttons

orange and teal craft thread

My Pink Stamper stamp

black ink

Have a Scrumptious Birthday at 3 Girl JAM

Hello Crafty Friends!

Thanks for stopping by for my 3 Girl JAM Design Team post. I am super excited to be a part of this team and I am looking forward to working with all the fabulous products you can find in the shop.

Today I have a scrumptious cupcake (from Sweet Shop) using the Christmas Candy ribbon, which is included in the Seasons Bundle. This pack actually includes three different colors that can be used all year...the other two are Summer Sprinkles and Halloween Harvest.

There are pink and green swirls throughout this ribbon. What perfect colors to blend together! What about that heart pin? I made it with brown, cream and pink beads. After sticking the pin through the bow I added one more brown bead just beneath the knot.

Thank You Students! You are the Best!

Hello Crafty Friends,

Thank you for joining us for our new challenge at Creative Cutter Room. We enjoyed looking at your Christmas with no red and no green color entries. We appreciate you joining us and hope you will join us for this next challenge.

Here is my final CCR Design Team project...

Now that Christmas is over, I wanted to make sure that I made some "Thank You" cards for my students. They were very thoughtful on the last day before Winter Break and I want to show my appreciation for their generosity. The parents chipped in and gave me a gift certificate to a spa. I need to call today and schedule an appointment before I head back to school next week. Not sure what to get...a facial, body massage, hair treatment...ANY suggestions?!?! I never pamper myself, so this will be an experience of a lifetime.

Yes, those are some of the other goodies I received from my class. I have the BEST class! I can't brag about them enough!

All Mixed Up Cricut cartridge ~ Thank You (p. 127) shadow cut at 1 3/4"

Carri's Birthday Celebration Hop

What a great day it is today.

I am fortunate to be co-hosting a birthday celebration for one of our crafty friends. That means it is time for some cake, ice cream, balloons, presents, and LOTS of suprises. That's right..I have invited 9 other crafty friends to help celebrate Carri's, otherwise known as... Abusybee, birthday. We have all made her a surprise project (that she hasn't even seen yet), which gets unwrapped today.
