Every Princess Needs a Crown

Hello Everyone! Happy Friday!

Today is my day to post at Miss Kate CuttablesBefore I share my daily post, I want to remind you there is a free file that you can download every day. YES! Every day a new and different one. Be sure to get yours today!

Here is my Design Team project...
Every princess needs a crown and a 10 year old definitely needs a pearl for each year she has ruled her household. Personalizing is just an extra touch to add a smile.

I used the Princess Crown which was super easy to cut on the Cameo. I cut it in three layers...grey, white, and pink. I added silver glitter glue to the center heart. Lastly, the stamped sentiment is by Jaded Blossom ~ Sweet Birthday Wishes set.

Miss Kate Cuttables has lots of files to choose from, so check out all the categories, bundles, and deals today!

A Crown for the Birthday Princess

Hello Crafty Friends,

It is an Exploring Cricut day!
What are you planning on creating today? Time to dust off your Cricut and pull out one of those old cartridges. Use some new paper and add a few embellishments, and the cuts will seem like new.

Here is my Design Team project...
Time for Princess Skyler's birthday.
Many people ask me to make them cards since they like them personalized. It adds an extra touch and puts a smile on the recipient's face to see the card was created just for them!
Materials:
DCWV papers ~ The Countdown Stack
purple, pink, and white card stock
Birthday Bash Cricut cartridge ~ crown, name, and age
purple polka dot ribbon
purple pearls

Be sure to come back tomorrow for the announcment of the 1,000 Follower Giveaway winners. Then you will want to return on Monday for the new Exploring Cricut challenge.

Being a Princess...

Inspiration for this challenge...Princess Diana

I used Princess Diana's crown and her beautiful attire for the color theme.

Today I planned on creating some new types of cards, but I got side tracked with other activities that needed to be accomplished before school tomorrow. Another word...I had a ton of papers to grade. After getting quite a bit done and planning for most of the week (yeah!), I was able to create this card for a challenge. I was hoping it would be appropriate for the Paper Playtime Challenge...CASTLES, KNIGHTS & DAMSELS IN DISTRESS. I do not own a princess cut (yet), so I used the crown from Potpourri Basket. My Disney cartridge with all the princesses should arrive sometime this week (yeah again!) and if I need to I will create a different project. Sounds like a good reason to make more cards and layouts! : )

I hope you enjoy and please feel free to leave a comment. If you become a follower, WELCOME! Be sure to leave your contact information so I can come and visit you.
