Good Evening Crafty Friends,

Today is the half-way mark of Spring Break and it has truly been stress-free. Just the way vacation should be. I still have few chores that I want to finish before Monday, but I know they are not going anywhere. : )

I want to send a big THANK YOU to Amy at Amy's Crafting Space for thinking of me. I am extremely appreciative that she thought of me and passed on this award. I surely do love my crafty friends.
Here are the terms under which this Green Blend Award” are to be given.

I am passing this award on to the following bloggers:

We keep in contact on a regular basis, share recipes, compare shopping trips/deals, and just check on each other's well being. I truly have made wonderful crafty friends and I am glad that you are in my life. Enough of that sappy stuff...that is definitely not me!

I want to send a big Thank You to Amy the Redheaded Crafter for passing this award to me. I am honored and will generously share with others.

Here are the rules and guidelines for this award:

~Thank the person who gave you this award. That’s common courtesy.

~Include a link to their blog. That’s also common courtesy — if you can figure out how to do it.
~Next, select up to 16 blogs/bloggers that you’ve recently discovered or follow regularly.
~Nominate those bloggers for the Versatile Blogger Award — you should include a link to their site for others to see how versatile they really are.
~Finally, tell the person who nominated you 7 things about yourself."

Here are my 7 things:
1. I teach 5th grade.
2. My favorite meal is pepperoni pizza with a Coke Zero.
3. I secretly wish I could be an FBI profiler...must be from watching all those crime shows in my spare time.
4. I am extremely frugal.
5. My favorite subject to teach is Math.
6. I am addicted to the computer. Every time I turn it on there is something new to read.
7. My dog, Molly, is like one of my kids. She can never get enough attention.

Here are the Versatile Bloggers that I follow regularly and think are amazing. These are in no particular order:

Merci

Hello Crafty Friends,

I have been busy making a few cards today since I worked on my reading lesson plans yesterday (Yeah! I have almost a month done...just need to work on Math and Science now.), and tomorrow I plan on visiting/hopping to see what I have missed. I know school just started, but I am glad it is a three day weekend since I have neglected my crafting time and chatting with my crafty friends.

I made this card for the Allsorts Challenge ~ Green and Blue. My daughter sure does like this card since these are her favorite colors. I included some blue gems for the Scrappy Frogs Challenge ~ Bling.
Materials:
Heidi Grace Paper
White and blue cardstock
Create-a-Critter cartridge ~ Merci (p. 36) 3/4" and flowers/circle (p. 62) 3 1/2" and 3 1/4"
white ribbon
blue gems

I hope I will be able to enter a few more challenges tomorrow. Little Red Wagon wants border punches and I love to find sketches. I will post my other cards once I finish the sentiments and take photos.
THANK YOU Pat and Karen for thinking of me and passing on this Butterfly Award. I am thrilled and want to share this award with others. First, I have to leave some tidbits about me.

1. Name your favorite color. Brown

2. Name your favorite song. Don't have one ~ I just enjoy listening to music.

3. Name your favorite dessert. Chocolate brownies (with chocolate chips)

4. What wizzes you off at the moment? Politics

5. Your favorite pet? My dog, Molly

6. Black or White? Black

7. Your biggest fear? Tornadoes ~ Storm Chasers are crazy!

8. Best feature? Organizational skills

9. Everyday attitude? Tomorrow is another day

10. What is perfection? Cruising around the world with no worries

11. Guilty pleasure? Pepperoni pizza and a Coke Zero

12. When you're upset, you? Vent or clean (venting usually works!)

Style is Important!

What an exciting Saturday...I went shopping (I stocked up on cardstock since Joanns had it on sale for $1.99 a pack) and when I cam home I received this. I never knew it existed until now. How cool!

I want to say "Thanks" to the operating room  RNs at A Creative Operation. I was checking out their projects earlier this week and was amazed at their work. Please go and check out their blog, they have some wonderful creations to share! I had never heard of a melting pot (except for the restaurant), so I learned something new when I visited.

So, when you accept the award, you must:
1. Thank and link back to the person who awarded you this
2. Share 8 things about yourself
3. Pay it forward to 8 bloggers that you have recently discovered
4. Contact those bloggers and tell them about their awards

So, here it goes!
This was hard to do, narrowing it down to 8 bloggers, because there are so many that I love to look at for creative inspiration, but these are some wonderful blogs that I recently discovered and wanted to share with you. Please go visit them!

Now for 8 interesting tidbits...

1. I am a 5th grade teacher (This is my 11th year teaching.).
2. I have a degree in Social Work from USF.
3. I have 2 kids (16 and 12...and my son gets his license next month...Yikes!).
4. My husband and I have been married 17 years (Our anniversary is next week!).
5. We have 2 dogs...Molly and Boomer.
6. I love to make cards! I wish I had more time to create all the challenges!
7. Pepperoni pizza is my favorite food! Coke Zero taste perfect with it! Sounds like dinner!
8. I have met some fanastic people since June when I started this new hobby.

Thank you again and I sure hope everyone has a marvelous day!

Got Attitude?

Thank you Jean! : )
I can't believe you gave my this awesome award. At first I wasn't sure what I was getting, but since it was from you I knew it must be wonderful.

All I have to do is tell you 3 things that make me different and nominate 5 blogs. So...what gives me the `Tude?

1. I am honest and like to say what I am thinking. Sometimes that is considered 'Tude.
2. I have high expectations for my children and my students. Anything is possible if you just try. Never give up!
3. I LOVE to make cards even if other people think I am obsessive. I truly enjoy spending time with my crafting supplies and watching the pieces come together.

The blog that I would like to pass on the 'Tude Award to today is...
Cards by CG ~ Designs by Cheryl
She always has fantastic projects and she posts wonderful comments. : )

Yeah! I'm So Excited and I Just Can't Hide It! (Wait, isn't that a song?)

After school today I checked my comments (as I do everyday now that I am back in class - oh yah, I have 23 students with a new one coming tomorrow. Remember all that school "stuff" I made for the Back to School blog hop - it wasn't enough! I have making lots of crafts for every student for the last two to three days which is why I haven't been posting other projects) and I was extremely surprised to find a message from Scrappy Scavenger to check out her blog. Of course, I did like she asked and I found this. YEAH! : )

Ok, so on to the Award Rules.
