Only in Autumn Will You Find the Pumpkin Patch

Week 15 - Autumn
For Week 15 the theme is 'Autumn' so get out your leaf punches, papers, tree stamps anything that reminds you of 'Autumn' and make a ATC, scrapbook page, card, tag, mini album any thing that you fancy making as Anything Goes.

I created this Pumpkin Patch card after seeing an apple made in layers. I used the Mini Monsters cartridge and cut 5 different pumpkin sizes (3", 3 1/4", 3 1/2", 3 3/4", and 4") and cut the layers 1 and layers 2 at the same sizes for the stem and leaves. The dark orange pumpkins were embossed with a circles folder. I used foam dots to add a three dimensional effect. I cut a strip of green cardstock and wrapped it around my pencil to make it swirl. The green checkered background paper is actually a piece of a bag. I have seen interesting check-out bags at Cracker Barrel too that would make a great background for a card or layout. (I am the frugal crafter! I had to try to see what it would look like.)

The Pumpkin Patch sign was cut from the October 31st cartridge at 1 1/2" in both craft brown and Hunter green. The inside has a place for a note on light orange cardstock and a checkered strip across the top to tie the color theme together.

Yesterday my daughter and I went to Target and I was able to pick up a few good deals.
Regular price would have been about $26, but I was able to get it for less than $6. Tomorrow I am going to visit Tuesday Morning as previously mentioned on Pink Cricut. I hope they have some good deals. I would like to be able to find a pink breast cancer Xyron machine.  I want to thank Jean at http://jeanscraftycorner.blogspot.com/  for displaying how to use this machine.

Stay Creative,
Georgiana : )
