Paper Play Sketches #9

Hello Everyone,

Welcome back to Carson's Creations. So glad you decided to stop by and see what I have created today. First, I would like to say that I am joining Sharon from Mee Mee's Creations this month for Card a Day in June. Well, I might add a few 3D projects and layouts too since it is summer vacation. Rachelle from Rachelle's Creative Place is joining also. I am definitely looking forward to my crafting time!

Today I am also sharing the new challenge at Paper Play Sketches. A new sketch is posted every two weeks and remember...you can rotate or flip the layout of your project.

This Week's Challenge is...

Here is my Design Team project...
Summer brings sunshine and that is a good reason to be happy!

I used a happy sun from Miss Kate Cuttables. The stamped sentiment is by Scrappy Moms Stamps ~ More Mini Messages. The yellow enamel dots are by Teresa Collins. The two stitched dies are from MFT Blueprints 24.
Hoping you will  join us this week for the Paper Play Sketches challenge.

Thanks again for stopping by!

Georgiana

Smile...It's Friday!

Hello Everyone!
Welcome back to Carson's Creations and thanks for stopping by!

I am extremely glad it is Friday! It has been a week...testing, drama, papers, etc. The thought of a weekend puts a smile on my face! Don't get me wrong...I LOVE to teach, but some of the other "stuff" is not a favorite. Just let me teach!

I thought this card might put a smile on your face...just like it did for me!

I used the Miss Kate Cuttables pretty sun. I selected a few shades of yellow card stock, inked some of the edges, and used foam dots for dimension.

The sentiment stamped on the cloud is from Scrappy Moms newest release.

Hope you have a fabulous Friday and a wonderful weekend!

Stay Creative,
Georgiana

Here Comes Summer...Enjoy!

Hello Crafty Friends,

Today brings a new challenge at Exploring Cricut.

The Challenge...Here Comes Summer

Here is my Design Team project...
I decided to make treat bags for my students for the last day of school. I had asked to loop with my group, but I was told the other day that I will be staying in 4th grade. Not a problem! The next group will be a challenge, but who said teaching was easy? I will be able to "Enjoy Summer" before worrying.
The perfect candy for summer...Sour Patch Watermelons and Lemon Heads. Time to pucker up those lips! Found them at Walgreens.
Each bag has at least an individual serving (15 - 20 pieces). Time to get some more of these bags since I have been making treats for my students. A trip to the flea market will be planned next weekend...100 bags for $2 - $4 depending on the booth that is open.
Busy cutting out all the pieces and adhering them together.
