Thinking of EWE at Paper Play Sketches

Good Morning Everyone,
Happy Wednesday!

After enjoying a long weekend with the hubby, he heads back to work for a few days. Now I can head back to the craft room and get some projects completed without getting side-tracked.

Today is also Paper Play Sketches Day!
This Week's Challenge...

Here is my Design Team project...
While we were binge watching a TV show on Amazon, I was able to try my hand at coloring some new MFT stamps. I stamped a bunch of images and then worked on a few hedgehogs, the birthday bear, a leopard, and a couple sheep. I don't own a bunch of markers, but the colors I had were a good start. My hubby picked this one...he thought the sheep would be perfect for a baby card too.

I used a Spellbinders Lacey Circle and then the MFT stitched circle. The ribbon is by Melissa Frances.

The stamped sentiment is part of the MFT Ewe Are the Best stamp set.
Now, I hope you will  join us this week for the Paper Play Sketches challenge. Be sure to visit the other Design Team members to see how they interpreted the sketch.

Georgiana

Watt's Up? It's a Sketch Challenge at Die Cittin' Diva

Happy Tuesday!
I was busy yesterday getting some errands done, so I would have the rest of the week to diddle daddle at home. Looking for some relaxtion time, which is a perfect way to spend summer break.

Today is Die Cuttin' Diva day! Since it is the first Tuesday of the month, it is also the sketch week. What is so nice is you can still create any type of project which means variety!

This Week's Challenge...
~ June's Sketch ~

Here is my Design Team project...
I made a few different cards using this sketch since I had a bit of scrap paper that I decided I better start using.

The light bulb is by My Favorite Things and this stamped sentiment is by Jaded Blossom. I used silver embossing powder to coordinate with the filament and sequins.

More polka dot paper...

A different sentiment, but the same Jaded Blossom stamp set.

A trio to make someone's day a little brighter!

I hope you will join us at Die Cuttin' Divas this week for our "June Sketchchallenge. Be sure to check out the other design team projects.

Georgiana

Thinking of You ~ Project of the Day #14

Hello Crafty Friends,

Woke up this morning and went for a walk at the park with a friend...great way to start the day. Came home and worked on a list of things to do and accomplished 3/4 of it. Then I took a nice, long nap. I'd say this has been a productive day!

After watching numerous videos yesterday I finally was able to get some inking done. I practiced a little blending, but I am not quite pleased yet, so I decided to try a stencil (thanks to a Jennifer McQuire video). I only have a few stencils in my collection and polka dots are my favorite; therefore, I selected this one first.

I used five different Ranger Distress inks to create the rainbow effect. I only had two round blending tools and had to change out the pads, so I called my son while he was running an errand and asked him to pick me up another pack. He did!

The stamped sentiment is by Lawn Fawn ~ Scripty Sayings and I used Ebony embossing powder. My daughter actually picked out the saying since she leaves for college this Sunday. She said I need to send this to her in a care package. One of her favorite colors is orange, which is why I chose that sparkly washi tape by Queen & Co.

I matched the sequins with the inks and adhered them with Tombow glue. The card base is MFT 100 lb paper ~ Orange Fizz.
Time to continue working on my list. I still have a couple "things" to cross off so I can say "DONE!". Tomorrow is Friday already. This week sure did go by quick. I hope the rest of the summer doesn't fly by...I have a lot more I still want to do.

Stay Creative,

A Birthday Monkey at Die Cuttin' Diva

Welcome back for another Die Cuttin' Diva Tuesday.

This Week's Challenge...
Birthday

Here is my Design Team project...
My husband's best friend from high school has a son who just turned one this past weekend and they are having a BIG party this upcoming weekend to celebrate. I made a card to match the birthday invitation.

The monkey is from Miss Kate Cuttables. Be sure to check out the site each and every day for the freebie. This monkey was one.

This stamp is from Cardz TV...Make a Wish stamp set. I am so glad I found it in my collection. I used a Spellbinders Ribbon Banner.

This is a 5" X 5" square card base.
Hope you will join us at Die Cuttin' Divas this week for our "Birthday" Challenge. Can't wait to see what you create. Check out the other Design Team projects while there...the variety of ways to celebrate a birthday is endless!

Teacher Appreciation, Thank You, and a Sneak Peek

Hello!
Happy Mother's Day!
Hope you are enjoying your day of family, rest, and/or surprises. Me...I went for a walk with a dear friend this morning since we haven't been in quite some time and then I have been relaxing this afternoon. The perfect way to spend a Sunday!

The other day was Teacher Appreciation and I wanted to share how FABULOUS my students are. YES, they are the BEST!

To show how grateful I am for their generosity I starting making a few Thank You cards for them. They didn't turn out how I expected, but I think a 10 year old will not mind. I need to make a couple more this evening, but this is a good start.

I used the Tuesday Morning Sketch (since I love polka dots it seemed to be calling out to me...Use me! Use me!).

If you get the opportunity and have a Facebook account, please stop by the Craftin' Desert Diva and KaDoodle Bug Summer Lovin' hop. Here is a sneak peek of my project.

Enjoy the rest of your Mother's Day/Sunday.

Made Especially For You ~ 2 Year Blogoversary

Hello Again Crafty Friends,
This is my second post for today. Please be sure to scroll down for the 100 Acre Woods Hop. Lots of Winnie the Pooh projects and prizes!

Welcome to Made Especially For You ~ 2 Year Blogoversary Blog Hop!

If you've come from Abby's blog, you are in the right place! If you just came across the hop, please start at the beginning over at Made Especially For You.

I am so excited Ashley asked me to be a part of her 2 Year Celebration. I can remember being on Ashley's first design team back in February of 2012. It was her team that I attempted a few digis. Well, I was not very good then (nor am I now), but I recently told her I would try again since we are on another design team (Whimsical Designs) together. Ashley has created a new challenge blog (All that Stickles), become a wonderful Sponsor Coordinator, and she has remained a supportive and creative crafty friend while working on her education degree. I know...Impressive! Thank you again Ashley for letting me share this day with you!

Instead of having a theme for the hop, Ashley put together a bingo board full of some of her favorite crafty things and we were to choose at least 3 of them and create a project.

I chose polka dots, crinkle ribbon, and pearls and made a set of Thank You cards.
My hubby asked me to make a Thank You card for a gentleman who helped my son fix his lawn mower and I got carried away when I went looking for polka dot paper. I LOVE polka dots just like Ashley!
Can you tell I love crinkle ribbon and pearls too! I have so many different colors of each it was easy to coordinate.

This is the sketch I used for my set.

Create a Critter Cricut cartridge ~ chick
