Make It Sparkle at Die Cuttin' Divas

Hello Diva Fans,

Today I am sharing the new challenge at Die Cuttin' Divas. I hope you will join us this week since you get to use all the sparkles for this one. Oooh...doesn't that sound like fun!?!

This Week's Challenge...
~ Make It Sparkle ~

Here is my Design Team project...
I love my pattern papers, but I have been very interested in the clean and simple look. I decided to combine watercolor and sparkle to help spread some holiday cheer.

I cut my watercolor paper with MFT Blueprint #20 stitched rectangle die.

I used a water pen and purple (then pink) watercolor paint to create the backgrounds. The Spellbinders ornament was in my stash (so nice to find old stuff that you haven't used in quite a while...seems like new again) and cut it  into silver glitter foam with the Cuttlebug. I heat embossed the sentiment by Bug Bites ~ Glad Tidings with silver powder by Stampendous.

I adhered the ornament and tiny satin bows with Glue Dots.
Other Challenges:

Hope you will join us at Die Cuttin' Divas this week for our "Make It Sparklechallenge. The other design team members did a super job this week.

Thanks for stopping by!

Georgiana

Be Merry with a Sketch at Die Cuttin' Diva

Welcome back and thank you for visiting!
I have been busy making projects for the past week and it sure feels good! I even received an order today for some birthday cards.

There is a new challenge at Die Cuttin' Divas, so here is another opportunity for you to share your newest creation.

 The Challenge...Sketch
I created this sketch for our Design Team. I sure do like the layout and hope you will too. Remember you can rotate the sketch if you want.
I cut the 3" ornament from Celebrate with Flourish, a cartridge that I just received and haven't used much. Wow! There are some very pretty cuts. The red and green sparkle is a perfect touch for this lovely ornament.
Other Materials:
Recollections paper ~ Bright Christmas
dark green and white card stock
My Craft Spot stamp ~ Mistletoe set
green ink
red and green glitter glue
red glitter skittles by Carri

Other Challenges:

Can't wait to see what you share at Die Cuttin' Diva this week! Now go check out the Design Team projects...be prepared to see the versatility with this sketch!

Stay Creative,
Georgiana

Christmas in July at Little Scrap Pieces

Hello Crafty Friends,

Today brings a new challenge at Little Scrap Pieces.

The Challenge...Christmas in July
The weather definitely doesn't feel like winter at 96 degrees, but if you go to Hobby Lobby you sure can get what you need for Christmas already. They even have gorgeous ornaments like this one. : )

Materials:
Joys of the Season Cricut cartridge ~ ornament cut at 2 3/4"
Fancy Pants Designs paper ~ St. Nick pad
cream and burgundy card stock
cream ribbon
self adhesive burgundy pearls

burgundy ink

Hope you will join us at Little Scrap Pieces for our "Christmas in July" challenge. It is much easier to make a few throughout the year rather than procrastinate until the last month.

Be sure to stop by and see the other Design Team holiday projects.

Georgiana
