Hearts Challenge at Miss Kate Cuttables and a Winner

Hello Everyone,
Welcome to all my new crafty friends!
The new challenge at Miss Kate Cuttables starts today, and remember there is a free file every day! Hopefully you will be able to join us during the next two weeks with your own creation.

This Week's Challenge...
~ Hearts ~

Here is my Design Team project...
I saw a fox on my way home from the store the other day, so I have been thinking about using one since that day. My hubby likes to tease me and told me it was a dog, but I know the difference!

The stamped sentiment is by Scrappy Moms Stamps.

Blog Hop winner...
Thank you everyone for stopping by this past weekend. I hope you enjoyed all our projects. I was SUPER happy to read all your comments.

Marilyn ~ Who 'Dat Scrapper

Thank You Fall for Finally Coming

Hello Crafty Friends!

Today I am sharing two Design Team challenges that I combined together...Die Cuttin' Diva and Miss Kate Cuttables. Great way to challenge yourself if you can pile a few different themes into one. Give it a try this week!

This Week's Challenge...
Fall Harvest

Here is my Design Team project...

It's beginning to feel like Fall here. The temperature is cooler in the morning and there are acorns everywhere. When I take my dog for a walk we hear the owls hooting, but have never seen a fox.

The trapeziod handle bag is by SVG Cutting Files. I love the shape with the scallop handle.

The Fall fox is by Miss Kate Cuttables and I cut it on my Cameo.

Each treat bag has a mini tag and stamped sentiment by My Craft Spot...sure do miss them.

The owl is by Miss Kate Cuttables. It is part of the Owl in Pumpkin Patch file, but I didn't use all the pieces...just what I wanted.
Other Challenges:
PDE Linky Party ~ Anything Goes
Craft Your Passions ~ Anything Goes
613 Avenue Create ~ Anything Goes
Little Scrap Pieces ~ Show It Off Saturday

Hope you are enjoying the season. What is your favorite part of Fall?

Thanks 'Ole Foxy One

Hello Crafty Friends,

I just got back from picking up my son from college (after 4 hours of driving). He is home for the long holiday weekend. Yeah! Tomorrow we are going to the grandparents for turkey dinner and then maybe a little Black Friday shopping.

Before my retrieval trip, I worked on this project. Doesn't that fox look like a sly one? Of course, those eyes do make him look a little innocent...maybe even a bit cuddly.
It was the first time I used Wild Card 2. I cut the fox (p. 48) at 3". The fox is resting upon an embossed (Tim Holtz distressed) square with brown square brads in the corners. All the edges were inked too.
I cut "thanks" from Just Because Cards and added a brown velvet flower with a red button. The bow is white embroidery floss.

What am I thankful for? Family...my dog...my job...my crafty friends...
How about you? What are you thankful for?
I used this sketch from The Sweet Shop, but didn't use a tasty treat....Ooops! I may need to use this sketch again, but add something yummy next time.
