October Sketch at Die Cuttin' Divas

Hello Crafty Friends,

Welcome back for another Die Cuttin' Diva Challenge.

This Week's Challenge...A Sketch
This one looks a bit difficult (it is suppose to be a challenge), but use your imagination and you will be amazed with what you create.

My Design Team Project...
Even I was a bit stumped at first when I created this sketch. The key was finding just the right paper to coordinate and then the matching die-cut. Since this is my favorite time of year I thought a cute girl scarecrow would be ideal.

The scarecrow is from My Scrap Chick and is part of the Fall Treat Boxes file. I decided not to make the box this time, but a card instead. She was easy to cut on the Cameo. Her heart checks match the leaves in the background.
Other Challenges:

Hope you will join us at Die Cuttin' Divas this week for our "Sketch" challenge. The other design team members have done a magnificent job using this sketch, so be sure to check them out!

Hope you will join the challenge this week!
Stay Creative,
Georgiana

  1. She looks so happy! I love how the pink in her cheeks matches the pink in your patterned paper. So cute.

  5. Georgiana ~

I LOVE your card. I know that Sketch Challenges are not an exact science but are supposed to help you jump start your creativity. However, it would help me immensely if I knew the measurements of the layers of your card (if you remember). I would really like to recreate something similar (not to add to the challenge but just as personal practice for me.)

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide!! I have been following your blog for quite some time and am NEVER disappointed when I come to visit!! You have inspired me to begin using the supplies I have in more creative ways!!

  7. This is definitely a "happy harvest" card :) I love how cheerful it is, yet it's still a fall card. So cute!
