A Cozy Cabin in the Winter

Last night before I went to bed I had a burst of creative energy and laid out four different piles of papers along with some embellishments that I had planned to use for cards.  Here is what I woke up to.
After reading all the Black Friday ads this morning, I created one card before going to the Grandparent's house for Thanksgiving. I used the pile from the far left side.

  • I used a snowflake embossing folder for the background.
  • The cabin, trees, and moose were cut from the Camp Out cartridge. The cabin and moose were attached with foam squares to add dimension.
  • The snowflakes were punched out using a Fiskar snowflake edge punch.
  • Embellishments include: brown ribbon, brown buttons, and green embroidery floss.
I am submitting this card into the Anything Goes Challenge Blog #26 ~ Animals.

I hope you had a great Thanksgiving and good luck if you go shopping in the morning. My husband and I are going out hoping to come home with a few good deals. The list is almost just needs to be checked twice....since I am only buying gifts for those that are being nice. : )

Be sure to keep in touch and take care,
