For Challenge #7 make a card, layout, 3-D project or any other paper craft project inspired by this theme:
BUBBLES

bubbles under the sea
bubbles from bubble gum
bubbles on the stovetop
blowing bubbles outside
bubble wrap
You may interpret this theme any way you like.

I created my card by using a deep purple card stock as the base. I then used neon green card stock and positioned it freely at an angle to add a pop of color. The fish bowl was cut from Animal Kingdom using gray card stock and a lighter purple shadow beneath. I cut two layers of water (p.120) from patterned paper using the same cartridge. The sea horse was cut from Doodlecharms (p. 100) using purple-dye paper. Bubble stickers were added and the sentiment was typed with Microsoft Word then printed on a larger bubble sticker..."Sea" You Soon.

  3. Hello! Thanks for the comment on my blog! This is a FANTABULOUS card! I love love love the colours and the fish bowl concept! For my card I used a Sizzix Bigz die from Stampin' Up! It is the Top Note die. I folded the card in half, and then left the top portion off of the die so that the card halves would remain in tact. Let me know if this makes sense b/c it is confusing me to write it...hahaha...hope to see you again next week at Paper Playtime!!!
