Grateful Greetings

Hello Everyone,

Happy Monday! It's a new week and so much is going on in the next month. Lots of hops, card swaps, holidays, etc. It's a great time to be crafty and share with each other!

I had an urge to make a project with a squirrel. Not sure why, but I am glad I did...especially since he is nerdy! I love everything nerdy with glasses. Maybe because I have to wear mine (almost) all the time and can barely read the small print without them.

The squirrel  file is called Acorn Peeker and I cut it on my Cameo. All the edges were inked in brown.

The stamped sentiment is by Bug Bites ~ Autumn Splendor set and the papers are from Target's dollar spot...one of the deals I got this weekend. The paper pad was only 30 cents.
Have a fabulous day!
Stay Creative,

Fall Thrills and Halloween Chills Blog Hop Winner

Hello Everyone,

Long day at school (teacher work day to get grades completed) and then we went to dinner (love when I don't have to cook after working all day), but now it is time to announce the lucky winner from this past weekend's hop. Before I do...THANK YOU to everyone who stopped by. I sure do enjoy reading your sweet comments!

The winner is...
Congrats Beth
Please e-mail me at coachfans at cox dot net with your mailing address, so I can send your surprise goodies.

I also want to share the pair of cards I made yesterday for a co-worker.
Two of her grandkids will be turning one. She loves them personalized, so I make them just for her! I used Birthday Bash Cricut cartridge for the blue squirrel and Miss Kate Cuttable's giraffe. Skittles by Carri, blue crinkle ribbon by 3 Girl JAM, a ladybug brad, and some craft thread are a few of the embellishments added.

Hope you have a great night!

Nuts About You

Good Evening,
It has been another busy week, but the weekend is finally here! First, I would like to say "Thank you" for the cards that you have sent for my sister. I have made a couple trips to her house after school and I delivered the cards I have received. She truly enjoyed opening and admired all the special creations. Each card made her smile which is what I was hoping. Thank you!

This week I received the three cartridges I won on eBay...April Showers, Spring Holiday Cards, and "Just Because" Cards. This is the first card I made using two of them.
The squirrel and stencil was cut from Just Because. I created the flowers (from April Showers) by layering 3 cuts and slightly bending the petals inwards.

I added a piece of brown ribbon around the squirrel's neck to make her look sophisticated. She is holding a flower that is topped with a pink button and cream craft thread. I used foam dots to adhere her to add dimension.

The paper is Classic K by K&Company.

I am submitting my card into the following Challenges:

Hope you have a great weekend,
Georgiana
