Die Cuttin' Diva's May Sketch ~ Mother's Day

Hello Everyone,

Welcome back on this super Saturday! It is quiet at my house kids went to the Players to see some of their favorite golf stars and my hubby went to the FHS girl's softball game since the team made it to the State Finals. The dog and I are loving this time!

I practiced some more with my watercolors this morning after watching a few videos. This time I used watercolor paint, but I want to try the watercolor pencils too. I learned to get better brushes because mine kept losing the bristles. get what you pay for!

An up-close view of the watercolor background. The flower vase was cut from Kate's ABCs on my Cricut Expression at 3 3/4". The sentiment is computer generated.

Another heat embossed background then painted over with watercolors.

This was an individual stamp that I used to create the background. The flowers are not very evenly spaced since I couldn't see the clear embossing ink, but I know I will get better the more I practice! Summer vacation is in a few weeks and I will have plenty of time then! : )
Other Materials:
pink purple, yellow, and white card stock
purple gems
purple pearls
Versafine Onyx Black ink
Martha Stewart pink flower
