Pinterest Inspired at Die Cuttin' Divas

Hello Crafty Friends,

Welcome back for another Die Cuttin' Diva Challenge. Last week's "Favorite Color"  challenge was a BIG hit. What an astonishing amount of fabulous submissions. Thank you for joining us each week! This post will be my first one for today and another one will follow later this morning, so PLEASE be sure to check back!

This Week's Challenge...
Pinterest Inspired

Here is my Design Team project...
A co-worker asked me to make a sunflower card, so I thought this was the perfect opportunity to browse through Pinterest. Such vibrant pictures (pins) being shared! I found one I liked (see photo below mine) that I used for inspiration.

This is the card I chose as my Pinterest Inspiration.

Two sunflowers side by side (They represent mother and child).

I was worried I wasn't going to like the ribbon stems, but I actually like it!

A small sunflower was added to bottom right corner on the inside. I used Flower Shoppe Cricut cartridge (p. 65) to cut the yellow petals and a 3/4" circle punch for the center. Enjoy!
Other Materials:
cream, brown, yellow card stock
distressing folder
green ribbon w trim

Hope you will join us at Die Cuttin' Divas this week for our "Pinterest Inspired" challenge. The other design team members have done a fantastic job with their creations, so be sure to check them out!

Hope you will join the challenge this week!
Stay Creative,
Georgiana
