Bringing a Little Luck with Some Gold

Hello Crafty Friends,

Hope you are enjoying your weekend...I have been busy like usual. Seems like there is never enough time to do everything, but I feel good about what I have accomplished so far.

A fellow teacher friend asked me to give her some ideas on how to improve the low morale at her school and I said to let them know you appreciate what they do each day. Teaching is a challenging job that is constantly being scrutinized. Demands are high and funding is low.

Hoping these bring a little happiness...
I remembered I bought this file, Chance and Charm, with a gift card that I won from SVGCuts. I was super excited because I just ordered my Cameo and it hadn't even arrived, but I was planning ahead for upcoming holidays. So glad I have it! : )
I made ten black pots and then decorated each one with various green and gold papers. Gold and green gems add a bit of sparkle to the bow and clovers. Scraps of green and gold cardstock were cut and crimped for a filler.
Now she can show them that they are all worth a pot of gold. Plus a few Rolos for an extra treat! Teachers LOVE chocolate too!

Here are the files that are included in Chance and Charm...
Looking forward to making that hot air balloon and pup card. Speaking of Molly had her stitches removed yesterday and she can resume normal activity. Yippee!

Hope you have a great day. I am off to see the new Michaels...they moved to a different location about two blocks away. Hope they have some new supplies.

Stay Creative,

  5. This is adorable, Georgiana. When you said your Michaels just moved to a new location , I had to see where you were, because ours just moved too. But you're in Florida and I'm on Texas. For a minute I got excited that maybe someone from blogland might actually be in southeast Texas also. lol
