Hand Gel Covers using Cameo

Welcome Back Crafty Friends,

So glad you are stopping by today. If you missed my 3 Girl JAM Design Team post yesterday be sure to scroll on down to enjoy a scrumptious cupcake.

I have a new project to share thanks to Jessica from Chick-n-Scrap. Not too long ago she made hand gel covers and I just loved them. I decided I had to try also. Jessica created a file for the Silhouette Cameo (she will share if you e-mail her directly), which made everything line up perfectly! I decided to try and made not one...but two.
These are Thank You gifts for co-workers. I haven't decided who will get them, but I have them ready!
The large stamp fits in the center of this Spellbinders Picot Circle. The edges were inked in pink and the flowers were colored to match the splatters. Pink and blue ribbon tie the covers together.
Here is a helpful tip...squeeze out the air and the containers fit in the holder better. Thanks again Jessica!
Since I love how they turned out...I had my hubby and daughter pick up some more hand gel one day while they were running errands. The best part...most of them were red and pink, which will make fabulous Valentine gifts and they were on sale for 50% off. How perfect is that! I now have plenty more to make.

 Other Materials:
cream and kraft card stock
pattern paper from scrap box
black ink
Thank You stamp ~ Cardmaking magazine freebie
Zig markers

Hope you enjoy your weekend. If you find some crafting time and want to make your own hand gel covers don't forget to send Jessica an e-mail (eschfamily@yahoo.com). If you can't use a Silhouette file, you can still make them. Here is a pictorial for you. If you prefer videos...this one will get you started. It is only seven minutes.

Stay Creative,
Georgiana

    1. Pat, I tried your directions too, but my scor board didn't have the same measurements so they came out lop-sided.
