St. Patrick's Day Challenge at Exploring Cricut

Hello Crafty Friends,

Today there is a new challenge at Exploring Cricut.

Theme: Luck of the Irish
Create a project for St. Patrick's Day.

I wanted to find something different than a rainbow, shamrock, or leprachaun, so I decided to go with a peacock. Aren't they supposed to bring luck if you see one with its tail feathers open? After doing some research I found out that it use to be bad luck to bring feathers into your home...good thing I don't have any peacock feathers!

My Exploring Cricut project...

Materials:
various green papers
Give a Hoot Cricut cartridge ~ peacock cut at 3"
Spellbinders ~ Labels 18
Spellbinders ~ Labels 21
Tim Holtz distressed embossing folder
cream ribbon
shamrock buttons
Studio G stamp
green ink
green pearls

Other Challenges:

Can't wait to see what you make. Stop by Exploring Cricut to see the other design team projects.

Oh yeah! Be sure to wear green on St. Patrick's Day so you do not get pinched. I know I need to or my students might get me!

Stay Creative,
Georgiana
