Beep for the Birthday Boy

Hello Crafty Friends,

Just got back from college orientation last night after spending two days with my son in Jacksonville.  He is getting ready for his first semester and will be leaving next weekend. I am not turning his room into my  craft room yet, but one day. I want to make sure he enjoys college and actually does the necessary studying.

Exploring Cricut has a challenge for Father's Day that you can still enter, and beginning this Monday there will be a new challenge that you will not want to miss.
Here is my Design Team project for Exploring Cricut...
Working on my crafty goals ~ Another shaped card and faux stitching (sewing machine comes out on Monday)

Materials:
white, black, mustard yellow, and olive green card stock
We R Memory Keepers ~ Girls Night Out Classy
 Campin' Critters Cricut cartridge ~ card base (p. 40) cut at 4 1/2"
Birthday Cakes Cricut cartridge ~ robot3 (p. 56) cut at 3 1/2" and letters at 1/2"
black and yellow buttons
black and yellow craft thread
wiggly eyes
black gel pen

  2. This would be perfect fir my great-grandson. I live in Jacksonville and the universities here are wonderful. I have a grandson who works with Campus Outreach at Jacksonville University and has worked also at Univ. of No. Fla.

  4. Super cute!! We will be doing the same for my daughter on Monday...2 hours of orientation at the Art Institute here in Houston,Texas.... At least she can still live at home which saves us tons of money :).

  8. This is so stinkin' cute! I love the googly eyes! Hope you are enjoying your summer break so far! I am enjoying the time off, but not the heat... Our temps are up to 103 degrees today! I am keeping myself locked away in my air conditioned craft room! :)
