Last Day of Christmas in July

Welcome back my crafty friends and Thank You for joining us for our Christmas in July Blog Hop, Day 3! You should have arrived here from Tiffany at Sparkled Memories. If you just happened to stumble upon this hop, please be sure to go back to Elaine's blog @ ExpressionsByElaine, so you don't miss any of the wonderful projects we have to share.

Today I created a card using a sunburst style. It is very simple, yet elegant.
You use 1 X 4 inch strips and cut them from corner to corner. Then alternate the color patterns as desired. You will need to allow the paper to hang over the top and side edges before gluing. Next, you will trim the excess pieces off. Finally...decorate with embellishments.

You can see another sunburst card here. There is also a link to show more complete directions if you would like to try your own.

Since this is a Christmas hop, I have a gift for one lucky person. It is a Cuttlebug embossing folder ~ Moroccan print. Please leave a comment each day for a greater chance of winning. Be sure to include what you like about the holidays, your blog address (if you have one), and your e-mail. The winner will be announced Wednesday, July 27th.
Your next and last stop will be Candace at Scrappin 2 Little Princesses. Enjoy!
Stay Creative,
Georgiana
