Sports Card (Yes! This was a Challenge!)

http://morethanfavors.blogspot.com/
The challenge is anything sport related! It can be anything! Any Project, Any Size and any color.

I remember how Carri at DoubleClickConnections said she dislikes sports and how challenging it was to make a sports themed card...well, I do understand! I am not a sports-liking person either, but I thought I was up for the challenge too. After staring at the Basketball cartridge for quite some time (I still haven't used it) and then I searched for a trophy image, I decided to make a 1st place ribbon with Plantin Schoolbook.
My son is going to particpate in cross country beginning Monday and then Varsity wrestling. I created this card to give to him when he wins either a race or a match.  I thought I should be prepared rather than wait until the last minute (like his birthday).

On the top of my page it says...where creativity and frugality meet...well, check out these deals.

Paper Pad by We R Memory Keepers (clearance at TJMaxx)
red and blue cardstock (on sale at Joann's for $1.99)
black stickers by EK Success (40% off at Michaels)

Stay Creative,
Georgiana : )
