"I am an Adult" Birthday

Hello Crafty Friends,

My son returned to college today, so we have been busy this weekend getting him ready to go. We took him out to eat yesterday to Red Lobster. Can you believe my children (18 and 14 years old) have NEVER been there?!?! My hubby likes to fish, but he will not eat it and my favorite restaurant is actually Olive Garden. My son decided on ordering chicken after much deliberation and my daughter said she only liked the dessert (she said she doesn't want to go back). Well, I guess I will have to find a friend to go with me next time since my food was delicious.

Here is a new card I created at the request of a co-worker.
She asked for pink camo, but I could not find any (If anyone knows where I can get some for future projects, please let me know.). I decided to emboss and use army green to get a similar effect.
This is 3Girl JAM ribbon ~ Seasons Bundle. I used the bow maker from Creative Cutter Room to make my triple bow.
Materials:
pink, white, and army green card stock
Birthday Bash Cricut cartridge
Paper Studio embossing folder
green pearls
pink button
pink embroidery floss

Challenges:

This is going to be a busy week for me. I hope you enjoy your week and find time to craft.

Now, I want to share my Little Scrap Pieces Design Team project.

The challenge this week...Anything Goes
Aren't these the best challenges!!! You can create any type of project and if you are like me you need birthday cards.
I used a white pop dot between the Spellbinders to add dimension.

Materials:
My Minds Eye paper ~ Moments
Spellbinders ~ Parisian Motifs
Birthday Bash Cricut cartridge ~ sentiment (p.67) cut at 1 3/4"
blue gems from Michaels
yellow ribbon

Hope you will join us this week for the Anything Goes challenge at Little Scrap Pieces.  Looking forward to seeing what you create.

Today brings the first challenge of 2013 at Die Cuttin' Divas and what better way to celebrate than with a new project. Lots of new challenges and sponsors, and a few changes coming in 2013. Please refer to challenge site for differences.

The Challenge this Week...a Sketch
Create a card, layout, gift, home decor, or any other crafty project using this sketch.

Here is my Design Team project...
I rotated the sketch 90 degrees counter clockwise.
I inked and embossed the cream on top of the float. Doesn't it look scrumptious?!?!
The circle sentiment is from Scrappy Moms Stamps ~ Dancing in Circles.
I received this twine from Sukie (THANK YOU!) and it matches the background paper perfectly.

Materials:
kraft and teal card stock
K&Company paper
Sweet Shop Cricut cartridge ~ float cut at 4 1/4"
Elegant Edges ~ scalloped circle cut at 1 1/4"
Scrappy Moms Stamp ~ Dancing in Circles
