Personalized Vinyl Tumblers

Hello Crafty Friends,

Happy Friday!
Today is my last day of school until August, so I am looking forward to enjoying summer. I have a "list" of things to do, but relaxing and crafting are high on the list.

Earlier this week I made a few teacher gifts as requested by a friend. My friend sent me a couple pictures and asked if I could make some personalized tumblers. I told her I never had, but I was willing to try if she bought the materials. Well...she gave me a bag with 3 clear tumblers and a sample pack of Cricut vinyl, so I got busy!

Here are the final products...
These tumblers are for three special school employees (see titles below).
Special tip...Transfer tape really works!
I did NOT use it for the front (name), but realized to keep the title straight it would be easier. What a fabulous invention!
Since my daughter loved them so much, she asked if I could make them for her teachers. After discovering the transfer tape I couldn't object. The hardest part now was finding the tumblers. We had to travel to 4 different stores looking for them.
She chose monogram style with dots, except for her math teacher who is retiring this year. They all loved their cups, especially Mr. Lakin. I think my daughter may have received an automatic "A" (if she hadn't already) just because he loved it that much. : )
Then I made one for my Secret Pal.
If you like these tumblers, you can buy them on-line at Dollar Tree. You must buy a case of 24, but they can be delivered to your home or to the store. The only negative...you do not get to choose the tumbler colors.

Since I enjoyed working with vinyl I decided to purchase a few other pieces to try and customize. I already have a few ideas brewing, but I need to finish one last day of school.
Have you ever used vinyl?
Here are the settings I used on my Cricut (which was different than the packaging recommended but worked the best)...

 Pressure ~ 2 bars (medium)
Blade ~ Setting 1
 Speed~ High
