Anything Goes with Witches Hat

Hello Crafty Friends,

Welcome back for another Die Cuttin' Diva Challenge.

This Week's Challenge...Anything Goes

Try that new technique, make a treat bag for a friend, or add a card to your stash.

My Design Team Project...

I have been making a bunch of these witches hat for school and adding a blow pop or a hand sanitizer. They are perfect gifts for Secret Pal.

The svg file is by Jamie Cripps and I found it at the Silhouette On-line store. Cutting it on the Cameo was easy. I was able to align 3 on a 12 x 12 sheet of black card stock, and I moved the star and trapezoid strip on a separate sheet. Crinkle or organza ribbon along with a button tie off each hat.

Scrappy Moms Guest Designer Spot

Hello Crafty Friends,

I am SUPER excited today to be able to share that I am September's Guest Designer for Scrappy Moms Stamps. I have been waiting since last December for my month. It is finally here! I am extremely fortunate to have a two fabulous sets to spotlight.

Here are the first of my Guest Designer projects...

I just love ALL the sentiments on this new stamp set...See You Later Alligator! I use these sayings at school with the kids and it is amazing the see the reactions you get from them when they hear them. It always puts a smile on their faces. 

I chose the raccoon as my first critter...See you soon, Raccoon! Isn't he cute!

The base card was cut from Campin' Critters and the raccoon is from My Scrap Chick (a part of the belly box set).

Here is a close up of the sentiment. It stamps so nice and clean.

I also made a matching treat bag. I thought the students sure would like this. It would be a perfect gift for a Friday or before a short holiday vacation.

Here is the other stamp set being released this month. That project is coming next!

Anything Goes with Skittles Challenge

Welcome back and thanks for stopping by today for a the challenge at DoubleClick Skittles! It is the second week and we already have some awesome projects being shared. Thanks for joining us!

This Week's Challenge...Anything Goes

This is a special challenge since we are celebrating Carri's 2 year anniversary of her Skittles being launched. I have been there since the beginning and have enjoyed all the colors that have been created. The skittles are easy to adhere (liquid glue works great) and adds a little dimension to your projects.

Here is my Design Team project...
A birthday card for any girl. This bear is from Too Cute by Jessica.

Daffodil yellow crinkle ribbon by 3 Girl JAM, wiggly eyes, and inking around the edges are a couple extra touches.

Here are the skittles up close. Have you gotten yours yet? Super easy to adhere and they add a bit of character to your projects. Check out ALL the different colors and bundles!

The stamp is from Whismical Designs...an oldie, but goodie.

A cute little pumpkin treat bag.

The happy pumpkin file is from Miss Kate Cuttables and I cut it on my Cameo.  I used Plantin Schoolbook to cut the tag. I cheated with the gift bag...I found a pack of 12 at Dollar Tree for $1. They were in the wedding section.  Couldn't pass up that deal...it was well worth the time I saved, which was used to embellish instead!

A green crinkle ribbon bow, orange gems, and twine keep the pumpkin looking happy.

Ahoy Matey...Pirate Challenge at Die Cuttin' Divas

I found this pirate fox at KaDoodle Bug Designs.

I crumbled the background and inked the edges to give it an antique finish.

Fall Linky Party at Craftin' Desert Divas

It's party time! A crafting party that is!

Today brings a new Linky Party at Craftin' Desert Divas hosted by Tara.

The best season of the year! I absolutely love the weather, the colors, the holidays...everything about Autumn!

Here is my Design Team project...

Found this adorable little pumpkin mouse at Little Scraps of Heaven and added it to a treat box by My Scrap Chick. I used just the box from the Fall Treat Boxes file. Each of these svg files were cut on my Cameo.

The 2" tag was stamped with Enjoy which is part of the Picture This stamp set from Craftin' Desert Diva shop. I masked off part of the sentiment before inking to use just "Enjoy". It sure is nice when you can use a sentiment for multiple occasions.

I used the remaining card stock pieces from the mouse cuts for the box filler. It was easy to make...cut into strips, crimp (I have a Fiskars crimping tool), and then gently crumble. Just another way to use those scraps!
