Religious Easter Cards

Easter is in three weeks, so I am still making cards for those that ask for them. I enjoy making "cutesy" cards with bunnies, chicks, and baskets, so this request was a challenge for me. Our school secretary asked for three religious Easter cards for church. I knew I had some crosses that would be perfect, so I said sure. I hope they will suit her needs.

I used gold or silver metallic paper and embossed each sheet with a different Cuttlebug folder. Then I created a focal point with the crosses.
I used the Pink Journey cartridge for the scalloped ovals. The gold crosses are stickers by Recollections.
This cross is a silver charm that was in a 10 pack at Michaels with the bridal embellishments.

I found the religious Easter quotes on http://www.quotegarden.com/easter.html. This quote is also printed on the inside of the top card.
The quote on the inside of this card reads: Easter is the demonstration of God that life is essentially spiritual and timeless. ~ Charles M. Crowe

The Scrapbook Expo (in Orlando) is this upcoming weekend. I am going just one day since my daughter's birthday is Saturday. I hope to see some of my crafty friends there. If you are planning on going, please let me know. I would love to meet you there!

Take Care,
Georgiana
