Cheesy Pick Up Lines by Jaded Blossom

Happy Wednesday!

Yes...it is a great Wednesday. We already went shopping this morning at Dillard's Annual New Year's Day sale and I got 3 new dress for about $60 total...regular price was over $100 - $150 each. Can't beat those prices!

Before that I read so much wonderful news about new Design Teams and it excites me to see the projects that my crafty friends will be making. Hoping to get involved in more Design Teams later in the year! Miss Kate Cuttables is new and one to watch.

Today I have the first fun project of the New Year. I actually have been working on this for two days, but just finished it!

Cheesy Pick Up Lines...

I made a mini set of note cards. All the pattern papers are from Fancy Pants Designs ~ Off to School and the die-cuts are from various Cricut cartridges.

My daughter picked out these stamps during the Black Friday sale and they sure have been fun to use.

These cards are 4" X 4".

The pup and band-aid is 3" X 3". The matching bag was cut from Plantin Schoolbook ~ Roly Poly (fit to page).

On the Farm with a Craftin Desert Diva

Hello Crafty Friends,

Thank you for stopping by this past weekend for my 3 Year Blogovserary. What a great celebration we had! I heard from many people that thought they were in school again trying to pass a test and find the triplets. How fun was that?!?!

Here is what I created....
A set of 3.5" x 3.5" mini note cards with a matching bag.

When I was growing up, one of my uncles had a farm and I can remember some of the animals and running around in the pastures. Some of my favorite animals have been used to create these minis.

You haven't lived the farm life until you milk a cow!

How about chicken pecking at you!

Time to feed the pigs some slosh or play in the mud!

All the minis fit into this bag.

3 X 3 Note Set

Good Morning Crafty Friends,

I started working on this project yesterday afternoon and just finished it up this morning...trying to get creative with the photo display too (need to work on lighting/shadows still). It is a note set with matching gift bag. I am not really sure who I want to give this too, but I was thinking my mother-in-law would use it at work and her co-workers would love to receive one.
