3 X 3 Note Set

Good Morning Crafty Friends,

I started working on this project yesterday afternoon and just finished it up this morning...trying to get creative with the photo display too (need to work on lighting/shadows still). It is a note set with matching gift bag. I am not really sure who I want to give this too, but I was thinking my mother-in-law would use it at work and her co-workers would love to receive one.

Here is my project...
 The set includes six 3X3 cards and matching envelopes, which all fit in the coordinating bag. 
 A variety of materials were used to create this set.
I just love that flower...it is actually a star die cut layered in various sizes.

Materials:
Creative Imaginations star card stock (for treat bag)
red, white, and blue card stock
other patriotic paper from scrap box
red, white, and blue (star and round) buttons
blue satin and blue crinkle ribbon
red and white Martha Stewart twine
blue gems
red star brad, round blue brad, and polka dotted star brad
Cardz Tv stamps ~ Thinking of You and Smile!

Docerela stamps ~ enjoy!
Spellbinders ~ Moroccan Motifs
Wrap It Up Cricut cartridge ~ treat bag (p. 40) cut at 9 1/2" (I used the fit to page feature.)
Celebrations Cricut carridge ~ envelope (p. 131) cut at 6 1/2"
Celebrations Cricut cartidge ~ star
Create-a-Critter Cricut cartridge ~ pinwheeel (p. 29) cut at 2 1/2"
Sweet Treats Cricut cartridge ~ firework (p. 54)
Independence Day Cricut cartridge ~ bell cut at 2"


Challenges:

 
Cute Pink Purse...
Many people asked where did this purse come from. The pink purse was cut from Once Upon a Princess Cricut cartridge (p. 66) at 9 3/4".

    Wow, G! This is so impressive! Terrific job; so much I could say about it--love that star flower--it really looks great. Like that Moroccan diecut too. Great use of embellishments and ribbon. Such a wonderful gift set. Did you make all the envelopes? Cardstock or paper? JUST FABULOUS!--Pat

    Georigiana, this is such a fantastic gift set! Your mother-in-law will be so blessed to receive it. Every mini card is beautiful (that star flower is indeed gorgeous) and the fact that you made a matching gift bag is icing on the sparkly cake!
