Hello Crafty Friends,
Welcome back and thank you for stopping by. I am thrilled to be able to share with you!
Today I have a couple items you might find in a garden. Hmmm? What do you think you would find? Flowers, bugs, a pond, statues, birds, a greenhouse? When I was growing up my grandfather always had a garden and grew all type of plants. He literally had a green thumb. Me...I try, but I am not always as successful as he. I like to find those plants on clearance at Lowe's and try to bring them back to life. : ) Sometimes it works and others...let's just say I tried!
My first garden item I always admire...a beautiful gazebo covered in flowers. It is a peaceful place to sit and relax while watching the birds and butterflies flutter by.
My second garden item...a gnome. Now, I do not have any in my garden (never have either), but my grandfather had these strange looking creatures in his. I think they may have actually scared some of the critters away! Well, I thought this one was a bit cuter than the ones I grew up with.
I used the following sketch from The Sweetest Thing for this card. I always find fabulous card sketches at this site. Check it out of you haven't yet!
