Happy
Diva Tuesday!
Today brings another
challenge at Die Cuttin'
Divas and what better way to
celebrate than with a new project.
Our
challenge this week is...Flowers
Everyone loves flowers and there are so many possibilities. You can make them a focal point on cards, create a centerpiece, or add to them other projects. I worked with my daughter to make this for my husband's grandmother. A picture of his parents and our daughter was going to be included before giving it as a gift on Mother's Day.
She painted the wooden frame ($1.00 at Michaels) and I created the flowers using the Flower Shoppe Cricut cartridge.
Here is my
Design Team project...
These flowers (fun2 and fun4) were cut at 2 1/2" and 1 1/2". The heart leaves (p. 22) were cut at 2".
I used a quilling tool to roll the centerpiece, then added a small pearl.
To hold the pink and yellow flowers together I used Scotch Quick Dry Adhesive.
This
Week's Sponsor...
Looking forward to seeing
all those projects you create this week.
Stay
Creative,
Georgiana
