Valentine Lollipop Cover

Welcome Back Crafty Friends,

Today is my day to post at 3 Girl JAM.

Valentine's Day is approaching quickly and since time just flies by I wanted to start thinking about my students rather than procrastinate (I have the tendency to do that!). I have 24 students, so I want to be able to make something quick and easy but still be cutesy. I think I found the perfect treat! You will have to tell me what YOU think.

Here is my Design Team project...
I found this lollipop cover from My Scrap Chick that the students should enjoy.

Ribbon Candy Pink crinkle ribbon from the 3 Girl JAM shop. I added a heart button and cream craft thread.

One wasn't enough, so I made another. This file is definitely easy and making 22 more will be a breeze!

I used Cherry Tootsie Pops to keep with the Valentine color scheme.

This stamped sentiment is from Jaded Blossom's Valentine Treats stamp set. I think it matches the lollipop perfectly, but would you be upset if your 10 year old brought it home? I know some parents are very particular about language, but I also know some families have limited filters. I would like to know someone else's perspective. Is it okay to give to students or  surprise a couple co-workers instead?
Other Materials:
pattern papers from scrap box
cream card stock
pink ink

Hope you will join us at 3 Girl JAM with your newest "Anything Goes with Ribbon" project. There is still plenty of time to participate.

Anything Goes with Ribbon

  2. These are so pretty Georgiana, I love all the details!! As for the language, we use pretty gentle language in our home, and I wouldn't be upset if my 5th grader came home with this. It's a very cute pun and you are giving them a sucker as a treat. (And I'm a teacher too, so I totally understand your desire to be careful about it!!) Super, super cute!!

  12. I love your project. 10 year old's now a days hear worse and say worse things than the stamp "I am a SUCKER for you". Therefore, I wouldn't worry about it.
