This Sketch is Just for You

Hello Crafty Friends,

I made it through jury duty without being selected for one of the five court cases. Phew! I wasn't even called to one of the courtrooms this time for questioning. I am sure I will be summoned again in a few years. Isn't it strange how some people are called every couple of years and some are never called at all? That would be my hubby. He wants to go just once.

Today is a Die Cuttin' Diva day.
The new challenge is a sketch. Give it a try to escape from the regular square or rectangle shape card. A round card can be fun as long as it doesn't roll away! Since mine has scallops it doesn't move too much.
The March Sketch
I used the Birthday Bash Cricut cartridge for both the card base and hungry hippo. All the edges were inked.
The "Just for You" stamp is from Inkadinkadoo and the distressed ink is Tim Holtz's Rusty Hinge.
Other Materials:
cream and black cardstock
Cloud 9 Design paper ~ Fiesta Glitter
soft orange pearls
wiggly eyes

Hope you will join us at Die Cuttin' Divas for this challenge. Yes...it is a challenge, but give it a try! Check out the design team projects if you need some inspiration!

Stay Creative,
Georgiana

  3. Georgiana ~ OMG!! This is SO CUTE!! I recently bought the Birthday Bash cart; and, after seeing this card, I am SO HAPPY I did. I did not realize until now that the cart had a card feature!!

I am DEFINITELY giving your card a try. I do have a quick question, and I'm hoping you can help me. What size should I cut the card, so that it is a "normal" size? Also, if you happy to remember what size you cut the hippo, that would be so very helpful as well!!

I LOVE your blog, and I am learning so much from your posts!! Thank you for the inspiration!!
