Hello Friends,
Welcome back and thank you for visiting!
Today brings a new challenge at Die Cuttin' Divas, so here is another opportunity for you to share your newest creation.
The Challenge...Ice Cream
National Ice Cream Month came about when President Ronald Reagan initiated the idea to celebrate this delicious food that more than 90 percent of Americans enjoyed eating on a regular basis. Thus, July became National Ice Cream Month and the third Sunday of July is considered National Ice Cream Day. What is your favorite flavor?
Here is my Design Team project...
Ice cream is definitely a favorite, especially if it is chocolate with peanut butter or chocolate chips. I prefer sugar cones or a super huge 3 scoop with hot fudge and whipped cream.
I used the following sketch from Your Next Stamp.
Materials:
My Mind's Eye paper ~ scraps
pink and kraft card stock ~ scraps
Sweet Shop Cricut cartridge ~ sundae cut at 3 1/2"
Plantin Schoolbook Cricut cartridge ~ circle cut at 3 1/4"
crinkle ribbon by 3GJ
Glitz glitter glue
pink liquid pearls
Spellbinders ~ Lacey circle
Inkadinkadoo stamp
brown ink
Other Challenges:
Can't wait to see what you share at Die Cuttin' Diva this week! Be sure to check out the Design Team projects...everyone is enjoying National Ice Cream month.
Stay Creative,
Georgiana
