Hello Crafty Friends,
Hope you are doing well. I have been busy working on some more projects. Here is a piece of one that I am ready to share, but I still have a series that I am working on. It should be ready either next week or the following. I can give a little hint...Back to School.
This project consist of birthday cards for the staff members at school. I asked the secretary for a list of all the birthdays for teachers and paraprofessionals for the entire year. I decided that I would make the cards this summer rather than each month. Once the school year starts, I get extremely busy with planning and grading papers. I never have enough time or any in my stash, so I thought this would alleviate that problem.

I am using a photo box from Michaels to store the cards. The boxes are currently on sale ~ 6 for $10.00. I am a frugal shopper, so I buy everything on sale or with a coupon. Any time I can use my teacher discount, I use it too!

I put the staff member's name on a post-it at this time since positions may change. I will put the cards behind each tab and be ready to go. At this time, I have August and September completed. I plan on working on November and December next.
I am so happy to be more organized!
What have you done lately to organize your craft space or supplies?
If you would like specific details about a cut I used, please let me know. I used various sketches, cartridges, papers, and embellishments for these cards.
Stay Creative,

Great cards! The one with the cake is my favorite.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful idea. I love the designs and they sure will be a hit. When do you start back? Sept?
ReplyDeleteThe latest organization of done is my scrap pile, sorting all of my drawers in my rolling cart and I stocked up on Photoboxes as well. I have all of them labeled and everytime I make a card, I put it in the appropriate box and have one extra box with all tab dividers with replicas of that card. That way if I want a card for an occasion, there it is. In my own personal photo boxes, I write all dimensions and material used so I don't have to guess when I want to recreate it!
Wow, you are far more organized than me!! What a great idea!! And all of your cards are so fabulous and creative :)
