Happy 25th Anniversary

Hello Crafty Friends,

I hope you have been enjoying your Saturday. We had graduation this morning and it went very well. Afterwards we went out to eat and have been relaxing the remainder of the day. Whenever every one else is taking it easy, I get crafty time.

I have been using the new Spellbinders that I purchased at Joanns for 50% off. Today is the last day of the sale. I tried buying another set yesterday, but they do not have any more on my wish list.

I made this card for a co-worker, so she could give it to her husband. She went on an Alaskan cruise for her 25th anniversary, something my husband and I have said we are going to do. We only have about 6 more years to go!
I used Picot Edge Circle and Fleur de Lis Squares for this anniversary card. I layered the cuts with pop dots to add dimension. I am always in awe when I visit Lisa's site (A Mermaid's Craft) and see her amazing creations. She has inspired me to try these Spellbinders and I hope I can create something as good as hers one day.

I used liquid pearls around the picot circle. The 25 was cut with Nate's ABCs.

  12. Oh wow, Georgiana, this is GORGEOUS!! You did such an amazing job!! I just love absolutely everything about this!! What a stunning card my friend!! And thank you for the sweet words :)

I do have the Grand Calibur and I love it, but I still use my Cuttlebug with the dies, too...especially if I am only cutting one or two. It's a lot less cranking to get the plates through!! I love being able to cut the larger dies with the GC, and if I'm cutting several images, I can do it all at the same time, which is really great. If I could only have one machine, I would definitely choose the GC.

I hope you had a wonderful weekend!!
