Hello and Happy New Year!
I hope you had a relaxing day and your 2012 is off to a great start. This morning I hopped along with Diana of DL.Art to help celebrate her First Blogoversary. There were so many wonderful projects in her honor. She offered a challenge at the end and I definitely wanted to be a part of it. I found the four key words and got busy.
Today, I also decided that I am going to try and use a variety of cuts from my Cricut cartridges. There are a few cuts that I am very comfortable with and there are TONS that I haven't even tried. The card I made below has a new cut for me and it sure is cute.
I found the perfect quote by Ralph Waldo Emerson.
Materials:
Kate's ABCs cartridge ~ bunny (p. 34) cut at 2"
My Mind's Eye paper ~ Lost & Found
Spellbinders ~ Lacey Circles
Winter Woodland ~ circle cut at 3 1/2"
wiggly eye
brown ink
green button
pink craft thread
green and pink gems
Challenge:
Don't forget the Holiday Spirit Giveaway winner will be announced tomorrow. If you haven't entered yet, head over now and leave a comment.
Be sure to visit Die Cuttin' Divas on Tuesday. The new Design Team is being announced (YEAH!) and we are celebrating with a hop. Hope you will stop by and see all the FABULOUS projects.
Stay Creative,
Georgiana

OMG I love this card. It is so pretty and elegant. I am having such a hard time getting back into the swing of things, and am still in the Christmas crafting mode. This is so inspiring!
ReplyDeleteWhat a darling card- I love the oversized button!
ReplyDeleteThis is darling! I am the same way when it comes to my Cricut. There are some carts I use over and over and some I've never touched. I used celebrations for the first time for my Die-cuttin Divas project and I believe it is now retired. How sad!
