Since it is Christmas Eve and we will be opening presents soon, I thought why not share that joy with others. I have decided that a giveaway would be perfect, but there is a catch. The prize is a suprise. The only clue I can give (so there is no peeking or shaking) is that it is crafty related.
So...could it be...hmmm...maybe a...SORRY! You will have to wait!
It is a surprise!

What a great surprise. My favorite Christmas surprise was back in 1999 when our oldest daughter was then 13. We just moved to a liitle place in the country and on Christmas morning when we finished opening gifts, I had her look out the front window and there was her dad and her new horse with a big red bow on his halter. The look on her face was amazing. Thank you for visiting my blog , I am happy to be a new follower too. Merry Christmas. Teachermom5@gmail.com. kindredkrrations.blogspot.com

Thanks for the giveaway! I'm already a follower. On of my favorite Christmas miracles was in 2004 when it snowed on Christmas day in this Texas town . 1st white Chrismas in the history of our town. 2nd time in my life. The other snow was on February 1967. The day after Christmas the sun was out again and everything melted!

ReplyDeleteThanks for the nice comments on my blog and following me. I love to do recycle but time is a issue with me. I hope you have a wonderful Christmas and New Year.... We all love surprises and good luck to everyone. My best Christmas surprise was on the 20th in 1969 I was proposed to and made him wait till Christmas day to tell him yes or no. We were married for 31 years and I lost him in 2001........E-Mail: davidbayles@sprintmail.com

My best holiday surprise was on Valentine's Day (you did not say that it had to be Christmas holiday so hope this is ok) when I was proposed to & my ring was in the potted Tulips given to me. He knew I wanted a heart-shaped diamond and he picked it out himself. We have been married 28 yrs.

I think my best Christmas surprise was a few years ago, when both of my grown children had temporarily moved back home...we all celebrated Christmas together, and woke up to a mountain of snow. We were snowed in for a few days, and all got to hang out together...it was like our Christmas lasted for days!
ReplyDeleteI hope you guys had an awesome CHristmas this year!

My favorite gift this Christmas was the gift of giving of myself. This is the first Christmas in several years that I have had the time to do that. I put flowers on my grandmother, sister and brothers graves. I also spent some time with my aunt in the nursing home on Christmas day. She was in tears because she said it was dead around there and that I made her day. That was worth it all.
ReplyDeleteAM trying for a second chance but can't figure out how to put the package button on my blog to advertise this giveaway. Have done everything else. Help please? Thanks

11 years ago I was pregnant but spotting. I went to the Dr. and was told I should be fine and that this happened often in pregnancy. 3 days later I started hemorrhaging and ended up in the ER. I was told I lost the baby.
ReplyDeleteThis happened right before the 4th of July so my Dr's office was closed for several days. The following week later I followed up with my Dr. When giving me the ultrasound, the Dr got a funny look on his face. He then told me that I was still pregnant. I was also told it looked like I was having a boy and was due New Years Day.
5 1/2 months later I was getting ready to serve Christmas dinner and was interrupted by my water breaking. Later that day I delivered a baby girl. THAT was the best Christmas gift ever :)

Thanks for a chance at your surprise. I don't get surprises normally. ReplyDeleteMy Best Christmas surprize was this year. My mother had no idea we were coming to Florida for Christmas. Somehow we managed to keep it secret from her. Her face when I walked around the corner into the kitchen was priceless! Love you momma! rhodes.lisa1@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteWe also had a wonderful Christmas, the first eve at my daughter's home. it was fun, almost as good as being at MY own home! She is easy to spend time with, and while there were only the three of us, it was great. Isn't that wonderful? And tomorrow we head home for a Happy New Year's celebration with friends. Hope the new year brings happiness and hope to all!
ReplyDeleteOne of the best present that Hubby has given me for Christmas was my first Cricut. It was a Baby Bug, but I was in heaven!!! Then the next year they came out with the Expression. I got that one that summer. I haven't looked back since! Thank you so much for the chance to win a surprise!!

Hi There, just joined tonight after you left a comment on my blog, so glad you did.
ReplyDeleteI saw the first Cricut at Michaels and fell in love with it. It wasn't available yet though, it was just for show. Then I saw the price and thought oh my I will have to save for a while before I get that.
I tried to get it when it was released but the Michales in town only had 110 of them and they sold out in the first hour. So I missed out. The wouldn't have more in till after Christmas.
One of the gifts I opened was the brand new Cricut. My husband had stood in line to get it and got the 3rd to last one.
From there my cricut addiction grew...and grew.....and grew....LOL :)
Thank you for the chance to win and for the invite to your site.
Happy New Year!
I can't pick just one Christmas. Love how excited each of my kids and grandkids are when opening their gifts.
