Hello!
Welcome back to all my crafty friends. I am glad you have returned for another project.
The end of Winter Break is quickly approaching, but I am happy to say that I did accomplish many tasks. One goal was to create a sign for my classroom door since I do not have one for the month of January. Since there isn't a commercialized holiday, I decided to use "Welcome".
I bought these signs at Michaels after Christmas for 59 cents each. They were already painted white with a silver glitter trim. The silver bow was also included.
I used Kate's ABCs cartridge to cut the letters and shadow in BabyGirl Font 1 at 2". Then I glued each letter to the sign using a Martha Stewart glue pen.
Once the letters were adhered, I covered the entire sign (including the silver glitter trim) with a coat of Mod Podge. I wanted to prevent the glitter from coming off while creating a protective seal for the die-cut letters.
I liked how the sign came out; therefore, I made one for my friend who is a teacher too. I used her name and favorite color (pink), so she will have it all year. Since my husband is the principal at her school, he told me he would let me know if she actually hangs it on her door.
I am going to meet with her tomorrow so we can plan more Science. It should be electrifying!
I hope she likes it!

Such a deal too, I went to J yesterday and got some deals but didn't make it to M.
I think I will have to run out today to see if any of these are left!
Have a very Happy New Year!
Like the sign. Not used Mod Podge before. Just got back from JoAnns and bought 2 Martha Stewart Christmas punches (Christmas Star Punch All Over The Page & Vintage Doily medium punch) 70% off. The only papercrafting they had at 70% off was a couple of Christmas mat stacks that I was not interested in. They had no Christamas embellishments left. Also bought scrapbook paper (all glitter paper since I used up most during Christmas) at 5 for $1.
