Wonderful Wednesday with Cheryl

 My Bio:
My name is Cheryl Gaffney. I live in Vancouver, WA with my family!! I am a SAHM to two wonderful boys, Bryce is 8 and Owen is 5. My lovely husband, Roy, works hard so that I can keep up with crafting. You know how important hobbies are!!

I started crafting hardcore when I purchased my Cricut Expression in April. I just started my blog, CardsbyCG.blogspot.com in late July of 2010, just one month after I opened a little Etsy store!

I am proud to say that I handcraft a birthday card for each member of both my family and my husband's family (including cousins, aunts, uncles etc.). I'd like to think that the cards end up in some cherished place of honor, but who knows. :)

I used a transparency cut to 4 1/4" x 11.  I used create a critter for the volcano and the dino.  The volcano was cut at 3" and the Dino was cut at 2 1/2".  I just cut the green paper to 4" x 4" and ripped it in half.   I attached the volcano and the grass to the inside, then I I attached the dino and the grass to the front of the card, careful to cover the inside grass.  I accented the entire thing with a white gelly roller. The "eyelets" on the front are self adhesive embellishments from Joann's.  The twine on the top is from Dollar Tree. The happy birthday stamp is from Inkadinkado stamped using Stayzon ink.

I am open to you emailing me anytime to ask questions and, like all bloggers out there, I adore your comments. You are the friends that help the blogging world go 'round! Thanks so much to Georgiana for letting me be a guest crafter here on her site... it's a first for me and I really appreciate being included in her wonderful blog! : )
