Hello Everyone!
Hope you have been enjoying your weekend. We worked in the yard again today, but it sure is looking good. We still have a few more small projects we want to complete, but I can see the progress. After cleaning up we went to the Olive Garden for lunch (our reward for all the hard work). Then we went to the mall to get a Father's Day gift for my in-law. While there I found a new dress on sale for 70% off that I am putting away for the first week of school. Can't pass up a good deal even if it is summer break!
Once we got home I made this card for my Father-in-Law. His birthday is the first week of July. I tend to make patriotic cards for the entire month of July...love the colors and theme.
I used the following sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches.
I cut the stars and banner with my Cameo and used a white gelly roll pen to add the stitching. I used craft thread for the balloons.
The birthday stamp is by My Pink Stamper.
Other Materials:
pattern paper ~ Paper Studio
blue, red, and cream card stock
blue ink
blue gems
Other Challenges:
Hope you have a fabulous Sunday. Be sure to enjoy some time with family. Not sure if we will work in the yard again, but I know I will be making a Father's Day card or two.
Stay Creative,
Georgiana
