Gobble...Gobble...Turkey Treats

Happy Saturday Crafty Friends,

I just finished working on a Turkey Treat bag and now I need to decide if I should make one for every student in my class. What do you think? You know I love to make treat bags for them and my students from last year are a bit upset that I am not making any for them (they are in the classroom next to me and I still see them everyday). They really wanted the Halloween candy corn treats, but I didn't have enough for them. : (

So, what do you think...are they cute enough to make more?

Here is Tom the Turkey...
Each 3 x 3 bag has 6 individually wrapped Rolos.
Here are the scraps I started with to cut out all the pieces. I have way too many! I should try and use even more.
I found the perfect cut on Elegant Edges for the topper. I used the book feature on page 53 and cut it at 3 1/2" and 3 1/4".
The turkey was cut from Create a Critter (p. 70) at 3". I added an extra layer of yellow feathers and lots of Stickles. His brown hat has a rust colored bow and more glitter glue.
Red and gold sequins are scattered around the computer generated sentiment. Can you believe I don't have any good Thanksgiving stamps?!?! I even created a new board on Pinterest of various Thanksgiving stamps, so I have a place for my wish list. If you check it out, let me know which set you would purchase.
Challenges:

Looking for any Design Team calls, so I can get back into regular challenges/postings. If you know of any, please share!

Stay Creative,
Georgiana

    1. Amy R is awesome! She does copic coloring, cards, etc. Her last name I Ryanski (not spelled right) and she has a blog and is on YouTube. Pull up tutorials on copic and you will probably find her. I forget the name of her blog but it's something starting with Prairie. Sorry I'm such a dummy with names. LOL. ...I LOVE these treat turkeys!

  10. Adorable turkey and treat bag, G. I agree with Carri. Make them just for your current class. But maybe you could have a treat basket full of candy with the turkey deoration on it (change for occasion/holiday) and you can offer a few pieces of candy from that to other students as needed.
