Hello Crafty and Teacher Friends,
Summer is a wonderful time for so many different reasons...lounging around in shorts all day, drink all you want and not have to worry about getting coverage to run to the restroom (teachers understand this better than anyone), no papers to grade, and the freedom to do what you want when you want. For me...that means I can craft and read everything I can on the internet.
As I was reading I came across a new page, which then led me to another. I have found new and exciting links to teacher pages. Wow! I am impressed with the resources and sharing.
Here is my first of many new ideas I will be working on this summer before school returns in August. The Currently chart for each month.

Be sure to check out this site. She has links on the right sidebar to every grade level. Start exploring and networking!

Next...I need to plan how I want to decorate my class. I found so many ideas at Schoolgirl Style. Here are a few themes that Melanie, designer and creator, shared.

Not quite sure which theme I want to decorate my classroom, but I know I need to start planning and crafting. Looks like I will be busy for the next month! I want to make a banner, welcome and birthday cards, treat boxes, bookmarks, table pieces for desks/center tables, and redo my word wall. It was a camping/moose theme, so it's time for a change!
What theme do you think 4th graders would like? Keep in mind...boys and girls that are 9 and 10 years old.
Stay Creative,
Georgiana
